Mine is struggling to gain cause she doesn’t like her food with the enzyme.** A: When i originally bought them i thought they were for EPI dogs but they actually are just treats. My EPI dog does love them though and I don't put enzymes on them. Try adding pure Pumpkin & Yogurt mixed in with her food. Mine is currently going crazy over that combination and has gained weight. **Q: Though one reviewer states no adverse effects for their dog who hs EPI, would like to know if the treats have the enzymes?** A: They do not have the enzymes. **Q: Are these soft?** A: They are semi soft. They are always nice & fresh, delivered very promptly, no complaints here even from my dog! I have an 8 yr old German Shepherd diagnosed with EPI 2 yrs ago. There is very few things I can give her now. These treats made her so happy, she can now have a couple treats in the evening like we use to do. She loves the flavor. She's so fussy she won't eat liver, sometimes not even chicken breast or salmon, so for her to eat these, that's a true test of how good they are. They are a little expensive but they do have the enzymes in them & enzymes are very expensive. I'm so glad we found these and my baby loves them.
