Very good camera for underwater. Takes good pictures. Had no issues at all with water getting into it. Battery life is good and works as described. One thing to note - make sure you open it and use a small soft brush to clean around the openings, especially after a beach trip. Sand gets everywhere - and it was in the crevices when I opened it - much to my surprise. A little sand - but NO water! I used a keyboard spray/duster and a soft brush. Also, I find that using the Default setting is the best for pictures. Using the Zoom, not good at all, pictures are very fuzzy. Camera floats - so no worries about losing it. Good value.

Took this 4K underwater camera to the Bahamas and decided to test its limits while wave running—which, in my case, is basically strapping a camera to a small missile and aiming it at waves. Can confirm: it’s waterproof, floatable, and apparently stress-proof. The pictures came out crystal clear, the autofocus worked even when I was bouncing around like popcorn in a microwave, and the fill light made my “just got splashed in the face” selfies look intentional. It’s small enough to toss in a beach bag, but tough enough to survive both the ocean and my questionable decision-making. If this camera can handle my vacation, it can handle anything.

It’s a decent camera for its price. I have yet to develop pictures from it. You do have to mess with the settings to get it just right. Because originally the manufacturer settings are at the lowest megapixels which is a 12 so read the instructions and set it to 24. Also I suggest changing the focus mode as well. I’m a professional photographer and I was looking for something that does a decent job while on vacation without putting my equipment or my cellphone in harms way exposing it to water elements. And I’m loving the price as well it comes with everything even a SD CARD. Which was a pleasant surprise when I opened up the compartment to place the battery in the waterproof section of the camera.

This camera's auto focus system is very difficult to use. The half step on the shutter to focus is difficult to detect - especially underwater. I have another underwater camera which has a green LED that lights up when you have focus lock and can press down completely to capture the photo. All my photos with this camera are out of focus due to this poor auto focus two step shutter design with no LED light feedback. I will be sending this back.

It did not come with directions. Very hard to open to charge battery and to get out the micro SD card.

I bought this camera for my daughter before our trip, and it exceeded all expectations! It’s super easy to use, kid-friendly, and the photo/video quality is impressive for the price. This camera was not very easy to use. We could not see clearly through the view finder to aim the camera. Items were off the screen, so I did not capture a school of fish, just two fish. The cording broke on first use, while in the water, but I was able to tie it off quickly. The images were cloudy and not as clear as the photos I took many years ago with the Kodak single use cameras. I wish I was able to return this camera. I was able to transfer the photos taken, by plugging into my computer, so that was easy! Perhaps I need to sit and learn how to change the settings for a more wide angle shot, and to allow more light into the images.

Anyone relying on the advertised rating could easily be misled. It’s difficult to trust a product when the most basic details don’t match between the listing and what’s actually delivered. Buyers should take the stated specifications with caution.
