They freeze overnight pretty easily since they are so small. The fit easily into lunchboxes, again because they are so small. I bought the 6 pack, so I can load up my entire lunchbox with them pretty easily. They keep my lunch cool if there isn't room in the fridge at work. But, because they are so small, and my lunchbox isn't some sort of Yeti cooler, they definitely do melt.
