Review: Lax Manufacturer Support but Outstanding Seller Support - Changed my rating up to 4 stars only after the seller helped me obtain warranty parts. Ok saw for the money but questionable workmanship. The saw was missing the front clips that stores the rip fence, there was ding and dent damage to the front and rear side rails and the motor mount screws were dangerously loose. All manufacturer defects. I sent a message to the manufacture to obtain under warranty replacement parts but received no response or support until seller helped out with obtaining the parts.
Review: Complete trash, do not buy. - first-did not buy this from desertcart so this is not on them. Just reviewing here as well as a cautionary tale. One of the dumbest and most dangerous table saws I have ever encountered. Just wanted a saw to do a couple small projects for a few months until I had more space for a bigger, nicer unit. Where to start?? 1. The anti kickback pawls are unusable. The pin that goes through them is way too short for the cheap retention washers pressed on to hold it. The only way to get it to hold was to press it on so far that the pawls won't swing anymore. Trash. 2. The blade guard has 2 small pins, one came out within minutes of install and I have no clue where it went. Trash. 3. Comes with 2 cheap blade wrenches rather than what apparently must be a prohibitively expensive motor shaft lock. So you have to hold a wrench on either side of the blade to loosen/tighten it. Potentially hazardous, but I guess livable, right? Nope-with the slightest turn while just checking the tightness of the blade that was in the saw, the teeth of both wrenches bent like the soft trash metal they are. Bent them back, same thing the second time. Trash. 4. The fence won't tighten down enough to keep it parallel with the blade. If you think you might almost have it tight enough, the cheap plastic cap on the back end of the fence will crack. Trash. 5. Extendable table is hard to move, to the point you'll think you don't have it unlocked. Nope-it's "ready to move", you basically have to tap it with a hammer to get it to move. Trash. I haven't gotten any further with it. Haven't even plugged it in. What's the point? It's an unsafe piece of trash unworthy of anybody's workshop or jobsite. Learn from my mistake & stay away from junk like this. Any store selling this should pull it from the shelves for liability reasons.

Changed my rating up to 4 stars only after the seller helped me obtain warranty parts. Ok saw for the money but questionable workmanship. first-did not buy this from Amazon so this is not on them. Just reviewing here as well as a cautionary tale. One of the dumbest and most dangerous table saws I have ever encountered. ### ⭐⭐ I will start by saying I knew it was not going to be amazing based on the price right out of the gate

I bought this saw because it was on sale and I thought I would take a chance to see if it would work for my use. I will start by saying I knew it was not going to be amazing based on the price right out of the gate, but I did expect a bit more being sold by Home Depot. I would equate this saw to the level of Harbor Freights "cheapest" power tool lines. I promptly returned it and bought the Delta 36-6022, 1000X better and longer warranty. There were two good things that stood out to me with this saw and I will start with those. The first, the Fence is very solid and squares up consistently if you push on the front evenly and then lock it down. The second good thing was that the riving knife lined up perfectly on the blade, quit surprised by that as there is no adjustment. Now the facts on this saw and what did not meet my already low expectations. First the saw was missing a few nuts and the blade tool out of the box. The manual, which resembles a typical harbor freight manual, does not have assembly instructions. The two diagrams of the saw and stand do not show how they mate up. You can figure it out based on the photos on the box though. The stand seems sturdy enough when open but there is no latch to keep it folded up so it does not feel sturdy at all when folded away. The table itself is made of thin rolled steel. The table insert has no adjustment. The table extension rails have play in them so even if you get the fence square the front and rear rails may not be aligned. The extension rail lock is a knob under the table that is difficult to access and use. The blade housing is again rolled steel and there are also a number of large slots in the housing. I would think saw dust would just shoot out of these, even with dust collection attached. The Bevel adjustment gears are plastic, not that big of a deal but could break or wear over time. The Miter gauge is plastic and loose in the track. If you are looking for a decent saw at this price point you won’t find too much. I would not recommend this one unless it is on major sale and you don’t mind some tinkering to make it work for you. If you’re looking for a saw under $300 I would recommend spending the few extra dollars and going with the Kobalt KT-1015 or waiting for a sale on another saw.
