Good jar and works with blue leaf model . The handle is not very strong needs regular tightening .

If lid was tighten properly I would have give 5 star rating. It worked with my mixi perfectly and able to replace my old small jar with this and making all chutneys masalas powders successfully. Thank you. Lid quality is very bad compare to Jar quality, not fitting as expected.

My Original item that came with Twin Plus in 2014, had 4 blades. This new item has twin blades and resembles whipper blade. I attempted grinding coconut (with roasted chana) chutney for dosa, which came out well. Then I attempted dry grinding of some rice and it was not upto the mark. I can sense by finger touch that rice powder has not grinded like a fine powder but has some clots in it. Since my major use is grinding spicy chutney or gravies or masalas or little quantity grinding for adai (Lentil dosa), this item is OK for me. 1/2 star less since dry grinding is not upto the mark. Though the capacity is 1 liter, the grinding quantity cannot exceed half due to the cover. With old dome cover, one can attempt to grind up to 650 to 700 ml gravy or masala. Another 1/2 star less for the cover. My cousin bought the same item in Chennai, India for less than $10 and brought to USA. Exceeding the twice the price is unfair and another 1/2 star less. Since Amazon is not allowing 3.5 stars, I am rounding up to 4 stars, since the chutneys/ thuvaiyal are all coming out well.

When you need to grind a handful of Cashew to paste or make a small batch of pesto from Cilantro, this mixer jar is a perfect companion. No leaks, no mess and it works perfect. We have the Blue Leaf mixer from Preethi and this jar fits like a glove on the hand. Need to see the durability of this jar as we use this daily.

I have been using this mixer with my Preeti blue leaf for the last few months. The quality is great and it works well without leakage.

I bought this for existing unit, because new unit come taller and not enough wide. my mom recommend to by this wider jar good for many think can be done, easy to clean and easy to remove grind stuff inside as well. good thing that Amazon carrier these stuff.
