I don’ t see why it wouldn’t. It kills everything except grass.

Does it kill climbing ivy?

yes and no. yes, with repeated applications. Climbing ivy is a woody plant and therefore hard to kill with lawn fertiliser. No, it won't kill to the roots for the above reason. To complete the task you will have to physically remove plant roots.
