Aside from the flavor, the main difference is the texture. With the larger waffle pieces, the cereal takes much longer to get soggy from the milk, and allows the cereal to stay crunchy for longer periods of time. This adds to a better eating experience from a texture standpoint, in my opinion, but those who prefer cereal when it is softer may not like this change. Overall, this cereal is excellent as it tastes incredible and is a worthy replacement for the original.
