Great substitute
I have a son who is extremely picky. He will only eat pb and fluff for lunch at school, so I panicked as his school is peanut free. After reading the reviews on this, I decided to give it a try. I sent it to school, and his lunch box came home empty! I tried it myself as well and was astounded at how close it is to tasting like peanut butter. I actually like the flavor of this a bit better. So happy I found this. I recommend to other parents as well.

Delicious alternative to traditional peanut butter
This is my FAVORITE nut-alternative (peanut-free) spread. I LOVE "peanut butter" and jelly type sandwiches, but I have an allergy so I'm limited with my options. This WOW butter is the closest tasting to peanut butter, easy to spread, and delicious. I get my protein and crush my P&J craving with this. It isn't easy to find locally so I order it frequently from Amazon. It's always shipped quick and fresh.

A good alternative to peanut butter with some modifications
I'm allergic to peanuts, but missed having peanut butter so I decided to try WowButter. First of all, it's considerably more expensive than peanut butter. I can get Jif PB at a grocery store for 17 cents per ounce where the WowButter costs 54 cents per ounce. I decided it was worth a try to find something similar to PB that I can eat. I was warned that the texture of WowButter is very thick and dry. I tasted it right out of the jar and it definitely doesn't taste "just like peanut butter" as some other reviewers have said. I didn't expect it to because it's not made from peanuts. The taste right out of the jar was a little bland, dry and definitely hard to spread. I decided to put a couple of tablespoons of the WowButter in a bowl and I added just a few drops of extra light olive oil and a tiny pinch of salt. When I mixed it up, it became smooth and spreadable. Just a tiny bit of salt made all the difference in the taste and a tiny bit of oil improved the texture immensely. While I still miss peanut butter, this is a very satisfactory alternative that I consider worth the price difference and that I will continue to enjoy.

Peanut butter replacement
Two years ago, I found out I am allergic to peanuts. I love peanut butter on toast with breakfast. I tried sunflower butter and soy butter, and any other substitution I saw on the shelf. They were all dry and not tasteful. I tried my first jar of Wow butter last week, and I am very satisfied.

Does not taste anything like peanut butter
Does not taste anything like peanut butter. I understand that this product is for those allergic to peanuts, and that this product will not have that natural peanut taste...BUT....it should not taste like gritty DIRT! And it does. I don't recommend.

As a diabetic, I avoid lectin-laden foods such as peanuts and this nut butter is one of the best alternatives I have tried, and that include cashew butter, almond butter, and others. I recommend it for anyone avoiding peanuts for any reason. In fact, I think I like it a little better than regular peanut butter. One caveat, I had to remove an outer label in order to check the ingredients and it is astonishing - palm oil, and soy oil, so anyone with problems with either ingredient should probably avoid. Otherwise, this gets a thumbs up from me and my dog.

First, you can buy this product for less than $5.00 for 500 grams at local stores like Walmart, so the price mark up is outrageous! Second, it’s completely made out of soy. There is no peanut flavour. It smells and tastes awful. Thought I’d try it, but as a mother, I would never serve this to my children. If you’re allergic to peanuts, it’s best to eat something else.
