Best amazon purchase ever
I'm 18 years old about to go to college and I've bought a lot of toys in my time on this earth. I read review after review after review of these marshmallow guns trying to make sure I was getting my money's worth. Lemme tell you, I ain't lying when I say this is the most fun thing I've ever bought. These people that are talking about it breaking and getting jammed aren't using it correctly. Of course if you put a marshmallow that's a little bigger than most mini marshmallow it's gonna get stuck. Just keep pumping it or take a bobby pin and get it out, no problem. And of course if you're playing outside the marshmallows are gonna melt and get sticky and glop together, that's just common sense. It does shoot out quite a few in one pump, but that doesn't make it any less fun. It's made very sturdily and if the gun breaks while you're using it, you're playing too roughly, sit down. Buy it, buy it, buy it.

Don't get it
I got it for my 6yr old son who had recently had leg surgery and was bed/wheel chair bound for the summer. I figured it would be a fun activity for him to do, and gentle enough that the marshmallows wouldn't hurt him if the fell on his leg. Unfortunately the durability is very bad. When taking the pipes out to fill with marshmallows the backing would frequently fall off. And as you could imagine it was very difficult to find a small clear circle about the size of a nickle. The marshmallows would frequently get jammed, the barrel on the front was extremely difficult to remove and clean. It would be worth all the hassle if it actually shot a large amount of marshmallows, but it doesn't. My son really liked it but I was the one cleaning, loading, and fixing the gun........would not recommend

Kids are in love with this
These are very cool. They work well and we're a big hit with kids. We got each kid a gun and they had a marshmallow shoot out. This was one of the kids favorite gifts they received for Christmas. A good tip is to put cornstarch on marshmallows so they don't get stuck. With the corn starch, gun works great!

Fun idea but not great for little ones
This is such a great idea. Unfortunately, my boys are messy and the guns get clogged up with sticky marshmallows. This gun would probably be best for teens, or adults who want to act like kids.

One Sturdy Mallow-Cannon
I didn't expect much when I ordered this. The price was low, so I figured it would be low quality. But it was a silly gag gift, so I didn't mind. When the box arrived I was floored! It is made out of good quality, sturdy plastic. It has a good heft and is very durable. It is more than worth the price you pay for it. Reminds me of the good ol' days when toys were actually made to last! UPDATE: We have officially used the mallow gun and it is amazing! It makes a very satisfying "POP" when the marshmallows are fired and they get fabulous distance! They do sting a bit at close range, but that makes it even more entertaining. This was a great buy and I highly recommend it!

Fun, but hard to shoot
My son saw that I got this for my nephew for Christmas and quickly added it to HIS Christmas list. Well, Santa brought it and upon trying it out, it is actually kind of hard to shoot for a skinny 6 year old boy. And his not-so-skinny mom. But, once you get the hang of it, it makes a huge mess in the house in no time. Loses one star for difficulty to use, but otherwise it's a fun toy.

FAVORITE PRESENT at Christmas
I purchased these for my 11 & 13 year olds for Christmas. They didn't need another video game, and wouldn't be excited about new clothes. :) They LOVED them. If you're giving these as a gift, make sure to purchase the mini-marshmallows and bring them with you! Also, think about buying two (2+) or more so that they can actually make a game out of it. They really fire a LONG way, and are holding up well to some significant play!!! My husband even got into the game. CAUTION: the marshmallows really fly out of this, go a long way, and fire very fast/rapid. Smaller kids or big kids that get too close might actually get a stinger or the like from too aggressive play. That said, these are great!

this thing is rubbish
came with one ammo tube cracked. That's only an issue of the dang thing will actually cycle, which it does with a tremendous amount of effort, but at too slow a rate for it to actually be usable. There's no lubration on the piston and it's super draggy to the point where it doesn't work. You'd think once someone finishes assembly on one of these, they'd test it or at least cycle the action, but they clearly don't and this isn't the first amazon review with that complaint. If I didn't need it tomorrow, I'd ask for another one, but as it is, I'm going to have to try to lubricate it.
