Superb. A pleasure to use and to live with.
Some products you like. Some you love. I flat-out LOVE this thing. This is a product design that is at once beautiful, seamlessly functional, and a pleasure to use. It is elegant from every perspective. The usability design is as simple as can be. You fill the vessel with cold water, place it on the stand, and it turns itself on to heat up to the last-used temperature, which it displays clearly on the base. If you want a different temperature (think tea vs. coffee brewing temps), you very simply turn the large, uncomplicated knob and the display shows your desired new temp that it will heat towards. It has more features and options you can set and adjust if you wish to. But for basic every day usage, that's it. The heating time is pretty fast. Once it gets to the desired temperature, it plays a brief, quiet ditty to let you know it's ready. And then it will hold itself at that temperature for a period of time you select (up to some limit, I suppose. We leave it at 15 minutes, which seems plenty for our needs). Once it's at temp, you can pour or you can forget it - it doesn't much matter, because it will turn itself off after the set time. Oh and - this was a surprise - it sounds strange to say, but the way this kettle pours water is really great. It is somehow unusually smooth and easy. I guess it must have to do with the design of the shape of the vessel, the handle, and the spout. Whatever magic is happening there, I never knew that other kettles were wanting in this regard until I tried this one. Amazing. When I was thinking about buying this, I had a concern or two about the capacity - it's something like 0.7 liters, considerably less than many kettles. I'm so glad that we went for it anyway. It turns out that it heats water quickly enough that it's relatively small capacity has never felt like an issue. Plus, it's such a pleasure to use in general, that I don't mind having to refill on the odd occasion when we need more than one pot's worth of hot water. There are only two things that I could quibble about - and these are a stretch: First, it's expensive, obviously. But for me, the overall experience with this product in our house is more than worth that extra cost. It's that good. Second, the ditty that it plays when it gets up to temperature is pretty darn quiet even at its maximum volume setting. I can't say that bothers me, really, but it might be nice if it had a higher volume setting available. (?) Last thing. Here's a question for you: When was the last time someone walked into your kitchen, saw your water kettle, and exclaimed, "That's beautiful!" .. ? .. You might need to get used to it. This is about as perfect a product for its intended function as I have ever encountered.

Good kettle
The Fellow Stagg EKG Kettle is a sleek, well-designed electric kettle that excels in both aesthetics and performance. With its minimalist design, precision pour spout, and variable temperature control, it’s a favorite among coffee and tea enthusiasts. The gooseneck spout allows for precise pouring, making it ideal for pour-over coffee, while the temperature control dial ensures water is heated to the exact degree needed for different brews. The heating speed is impressive, bringing water to temperature quickly, and the hold function keeps it warm for up to an hour. The ergonomic handle provides good balance, though some may find it takes a little time to get used to. While it’s on the pricier side, the build quality, design, and functionality make it a worthwhile investment for serious brewers. Pros: ✔ Sleek, modern design ✔ Precision gooseneck spout for controlled pouring ✔ Adjustable temperature control ✔ Fast heating and 60-minute hold function Cons: ✖ Premium price point ✖ Lower water capacity than some larger kettles Verdict: If you value both form and function in your coffee setup, the Fellow Stagg EKG is an excellent choice.

The Perfect Blend of Style & Functionality
I’ve been using the Fellow Stagg EKG Electric Kettle, and it’s hands down the best kettle I’ve ever owned. If you’re a tea or coffee lover, this is a game-changer! What I Love: ✅ Precise Temperature Control – No more guesswork! I can set the exact temperature for my tea or pour-over coffee, ensuring the perfect brew every time. ✅ Sleek, Minimalist Design – The modern aesthetic looks beautiful on my countertop. The matte finish and ergonomic handle make it both stylish and functional. ✅ Fast & Efficient Heating – It heats water quickly, saving me time in the mornings. ✅ Smooth, Controlled Pour – The gooseneck spout allows for a steady and precise pour, perfect for making pour-over coffee. ✅ Keep Warm Feature – I love that it holds the temperature for up to 60 minutes—great for slow mornings or when I get distracted. Any Downsides? The only small drawback is the price, but for the quality and performance, I think it’s worth every penny. If you’re looking for a high-end electric kettle that delivers on both form and function, I highly recommend the Fellow Stagg EKG. It’s a must-have for any tea or coffee enthusiast!

It’s worth it
I don’t usually review things but this deserves it. I use it twice a day to brew tea. I just pop tea bags in there and let it go. It is incredibly fast at heating up. It feels solid, easy to clean, and beautiful. I like that it’s all metal inside. My old one had glass that shattered after a couple of years. Well worth the price if you’re a tea drinker.

Good style poor quality. Not made to last
Incredible style but kettle fell apart after less than 2 months use. The lid of the kettle no longer stays together. Not ideal if you are an avid tea or coffee drinker. If you seldomly use a kettle it’s likely it would stay together.

The only minor downside? It’s a bit pricey—but worth every penny for the quality and features. If you love tea or coffee, this is the ultimate electric kettle!

Best kettle ever. I love how detailed in temperature it gets. The dial is ingenious. It is quiet and hold the temperature until you turn it off. The handle is so nicely designed. It poors well too. Oh, and it is ultra fast. I have only had it a few months so I cannot speak to quality over time.

This is a beautifully designed kettle. Has different settings for different types of teas and keeps the water warm for your second cup of tea. Only thing that is disappointing is that it doesn’t hold a lot of volume.

I drink tea everyday, and my criteria for an electric kettle are pretty stringent. I was looking for a light coloured, all-metal (no plastic touching the water), non-gooseneck, variable temperature kettle with a removable lid. This limited my choices by a lot, and his kettle is one of the few that fit the bill. My current kettle is the Cosori black kettle without smart functionality (black with gooseneck), which I'll be using as a point of comparison for this review. The good: This kettle is sleek and looks great, with good craftsmanship and sturdy build. The white paint is even and thick, mostly matte with a touch of sheen that doesn't show water stains or fingerprints. The handle and lid pull are beautiful and feel very nice in the hand. I'm ambivalent about the base; I'm not a huge fan of the sharp corners, but overall the dial and display are aesthetically pleasing. It heats water to degree accuracy, and it's nice to be able to see the current water temperature. The Cosori doesn't have a display, so it's hard to tell how long is left until the water finishes heating, or if the water is still good for brewing another cup after I finish with the first (I don't like using the hold function). There's a calibration and you can also set your elevation, which weren't useful for me but could be helpful for others. The settings are easy to understand, though I didn't use the wifi connectivity or app so I can't comment on those. The bad: My one big gripe with this kettle is that the start up takes about 2s, and selecting temperature take another 1-2s of turning the knob. If you only ever boil water or heat it to one consistent temperature, then you can press the start button and walk away; the kettle with automatically start heating to your last set temperature after start up. However, I drink all types of tea, so almost every time I use my kettle I need to change the temperature. That means I always have to wait the 2s before I can change the temp, which doesn't sound that bad but get annoying very quickly. The 'guide' mode that has temperature presets doesn't cover all the temperatures I need (e.g. for white, oolong, rooibos, etc.), so I have to stay on manual adjustment mode. The dial goes up 0.5C with one 'click', so it takes me a decent amount of turning if I were to brew white tea a few hours after I brewed black tea. On the Cosori, I just need to press the start button and select the temp with another single button press, which is at least 3s faster than the Corvo. The lid is plastic, with a layer of metal on just the bottom and a rubber gasket around it. I suppose technically the plastic doesn't touch the water, but it's disappointing that at this price point the lid isn't metal. I'm also not sure what material the gasket is made of, so I'm a little leery of it as well. My kettle wobbles on the base, almost like the socket stem is too tall for the bottom of the kettle. It's especially noticeable when the kettle is empty, but even when full it still doesn't sit completely securely, which is a bit concerning since it means there's a lot more weight on the socket rather than distributed across the entire base, which could break it faster. This is a small thing, but the dial and menu button are both quite close to the kettle body. If you need to turn the dial while the kettle is still hot, it's easy to burn your fingers on it if you're not careful. The meh: There are 10 sound levels for the chime that sounds when the kettle reaches temp, and when it goes into standby mode. However, even on 10, it's too quiet for me...and I live in a small condo where I'm about 5 meters away from it in the same room! The spout doesn't drip and pours faster than a gooseneck, but it's difficult to completely empty the kettle; I have to turn it more than entirely upside down to get last drops of water out. The water indicator line is a bit difficult to read, especially since the kettle walls are covered in drops of water long after I've poured out all that I can. It's easy enough to estimate since the line is just about level with the bottom of the spout, but I wish the line was more visible. The instructions say that you should oil the handle and lid pull monthly, or they might crack. That's the downside to having wood near something that goes to 100C so often, I suppose. YMMV on if it's worth it. It's easy enough to reach my hand into the kettle to clean it thanks to the large opening, but there's a ring around the edge of the kettle where the bottom is indented. That area is where water mostly accumulates, and thus is where most of the calcium build up would be, but it's also the hardest to gentle scrub since it's pretty thin. I didn't use mine enough for any scale to build up, but I wish they made the bottom flat so it'd be easier to clean. The conclusion: Sadly, this isn't the kettle for me. The ease of usage is just not there for my usage case, and the nice aesthetics doesn't make up for it. In my opinion, the value-to-price ratio isn't good enough, even though I got it on sale ($224 + tax).

I wish they made the lid 100% stainless. There is plastic that comes in contact with the steam. Other than that, so cute and heats up water super fast. It is smaller than my last kettle, but it heats so fast that I can do 2 kettles in the same time I did one previously.
