They work but honestly don’t vacuum super well and the pump is kinda a*s, it keeps getting stuck and whenever I stop pumping some of the bags airlocks just crap out after the first few pumps

This is a good set of space-saving bags. I ordered the set of 6 small/6 large. On arrival, the package was confusing, because the label stated it was a 6 pack, but also that there were 12 bags. There WERE 12 bags in the sizes I'd ordered, so it was all good! The set came with a hand pump and slides for the bags to make zipping them up easier. The slides work very well, making it SOOO much easier to close the bags properly. The pump is pretty standard for a set like this; it'd take an age to vacuum them that way, but it would work. I wound up using my vacuum cleaner to speed it up, which worked perfectly. I have my doubts about the capacity claims for the bag. I was only able to fit 4 mid-weight sweaters in women's sizes medium to large in the small bag, which is advertised to have capacity for 6-8 sweaters. Maybe very light-weight ones? I was able to barely fit a set of queen sized jersey sheets in the small, too. The large could probably fit a standard sized pillow, as advertised. The plastic quality feels okay and the overall value of this set feels pretty good. The current price is $19.99 for the 12 bags and accessories, which seems very reasonable. I'd definitely order them again if I need more!

This 12-pack of vacuum storage bags has made a difference in how we organize things from off-season clothes to bulky bedding. It makes sense... really. The variety of sizes (6 small and 6 large) is fine although we prefer the larger ones... so we use the small ones for winter clothes and the large ones for comforters, blankets, and pillows. They’re easy to use, and the included hand pump works well if you don’t have a vacuum handy (can be useful when traveling or moving). A smart use that I may need to take seriously is to use them when traveling as it really reduces the size of your packing: once sealed, the bags compress everything down to a fraction of the original size, and so far we haven’t had any issues with leaks or air sneaking back in. The plastic is thick and feels durable and not the kind that tears easily and the double-zip seal gives peace of mind. Whether you’re trying to free up closet space, pack for a trip, or just keep things protected and tidy, this set is a great value and works exactly as promised.

I'm tornw between 3 and 4 stars and here is why. I like these bags for making big down or fiber fill stuff shrink down to flat hard pancakes for storage. These are pillow sized and larger so do the trick on blankets or oversized down coats. Because they are so large the manual pump gives you a lot of exercise sucking out the air. Also you need to push down on the bag to get more air out. I also like that the pump screws into the bag and; when done, the cap screws on the valve so it will not open accidentally (like the corded set I also seperately received). I did find that at the end of my hand pumping I used the additional corded pump to get the last air out as the pump in this set works but is on the flimsy side. When completed, these are great for storing things of sentimental value or off-season. The cost may be an issue as this has 12 bags with the flimsy pump, and you can get 16 bags and a plug-in pump for $5 more. Whichever you choose I think you will be happy with the space savings.

I am a big fan of space-saving bags in general, and I thought I would give this brand a try. They're great! The bag material is sturdy and the seams are well-sealed. I only took off one star because the included pump is worthless, in my opinion. I have other pumps that I used, and actually you can use any vacuum to seal the bags efficiently. I've found numerous ways to use these bags. Initially I used them just for between-season clothes storage. I branched out to sealing extra bedding and such. I even use these bags to keep my Christmas towels and sheets organized and clean for the 11.5 months they're not in use. Sometimes it seems a bag is letting in air but I would suggest that you just check to be sure that both tracks of the ziploc closure are actually "meeting" and forming the seal on top of the bag, then suck the air out again. I do recommend these
