This is the third and hopefully last security camera system that we have installed. So far it's the best and to date has not failed or had any downtime. There were no issues on installation it was a true plug and play. We have a 3500sq foot home and it is completely covered by the 8 cameras. PoE cameras are the way to go. The only thing these cameras could have done better is to have two way audio, other than that I couldn't ask for more. The price I paid was great and I was a little nervous as to the quality but when I got them and put them up it was a win, couldn't be happier. Great price and great product.

After a couple of weeks of searching, I decided to buy the OOSSXX camera system based on the opinions from other customers, its features and price. I had to interact with customer service to set up email alerts, but then I had to disable that feature because I was getting too many false positives. The quality of the video through the system or via the internet does not seem so good, but when you copy tye videos to view them on the computer, they look really very good. A couple of weeks ago I was able to help a neighbor with a theft of his vehicle and that was a great experience. The installation is very easy. The wiring could take some time depending on the structure of the place where you install it. I had to use my own cable as the one it brings was not long enough, but I feel that the cameras covers a considerable distance without having to supply additional power. I have been using it for almost 1 year and out of 2 cameras that stopped working due to humidity, I have had no issues. By the way, the manufacturer responded quickly and kindly by replacing the damaged cameras, so my system is 100% functional. I definitively recommend this system.

Product was used for a couple of year and I’m very satisfied. Images are clear and looks very good. The cameras are well build , are easy to adjust with the tool provided and have sound. Software is well done and have a lot of adjustments to customize. I am able to connect to the system from my iPhone application and monitor my home without delay from connection. For me , eight cameras are perfect to monitor all around my home including backyard providing peace of mind. Cameras provides Night vision and are very clear. Also , the transition from day light to night vision is very quickly. I connect the HDMI from the DVR to a flat monitor in my family room, so I can monitor my home at night even if my family is watching tv. Very good product. Recommended.

Bought this 4K 8Ch POE camera system to watch my home while away. I can't tell you how pleased I am with it. System was easy to install and the quality of video is geat. I needed some cameras to provide extra security for my farm in a rural area. I'm off grid and using solar power so I have to be conscious of my power budget and everything I use needs to be efficient on power usage, especially something like the cameras that need to be on 24/7 even when the sun is down. I went with the 5MP 8ch POE NVR system which made setup easy since each camera only needs one wire to hookup to the base unit and the base only takes up one power outlet which was important to me since I'm using an inverter connected to a battery bank and it doesn't have a lot of outlets. The base unit sits in a shed where it is exposed to temperature and humidity fluctuations as the seasons change and it is still going strong. I tried more expensive brands like reolink, the picture quality wasn't noticeably better, but what I did notice was that they drained my batteries very quickly and couldn't even make it through one night. The OOSSXX cameras have been running nonstop for almost a year now even through the winter when the sun doesn't shine as brightly and they are very efficient which means I have left over power in my battery bank to run other devices. I tried contacting reolink customer service multiple times about the power drain problem but they took a long time to respond and couldn't answer all my questions. I've only had to contact OOSSXX customer service once since they are running so smoothly but when I did have to contact them they responded promptly and were even more helpful than I expected! If you are like me an need maximum energy efficiency for off grid use these are the best cameras to get. Even if you live in the city where power is plentiful you should get these cameras if you care about the environment and keeping your carbon footprint low.

I purchased this 8 camera system to replace an existing system. I really like this system better than my previous one. The setup was very easy to install and like that the camera cables come with the barrel connectors to keep out moisture. The app was very simple to install and found my camera system without any problems. The cameras seem to be of good quality and the Recording quality is also very good. The whole setup took me about a few hours installing the cameras one by one. I did contact customer service and they replied within hours. I also like that everything needed was in one box and didn't have to purchase anything additional. Overall, I am extremely happy with the camera system. Five Stars *****

Easy to setup, great view, quality picture, great and clear night vision. Budget friendly all around. Cloud access, motion detection. I like the POE better than wireless connectivity. Customer service responsive and at hand.
