A hundred million stars for this. First of all, it arrived packaged well. And it was mostly already put together, it only took my husband less than 10 minutes to finish getting it all assembled. My 8 year old daughter was able to spend 2 minutes learning how, without getting on it, to ride. And then she was off. It's very easy for a child to figure out. NOTE: The brake is hard for small handed kids. My 8 year old barely can squeeze it, barely fits her fingers around it. So they will need practice to learn. Now this thing runs up to 15mph they say. I thought, hey, no problem -- my 10 year old son will love beating his little sister while he races ahead on his regular bike. BOY WAS I WRONG! It's extremely difficult for a kids bicycle to keep up with this. So we actually just went and my son was jealous so he bought another motorized Razor scooter to keep up with his sister. 15mph is fast. I bought new helmets for the kids. I feel better about that... And I think maybe they should be wearing pads, but we live in a cul-de-sac with one side of the street having no homes or driveway cut-outs so I let them drive on the sidewalk for the straight shot of 500-600' and it's a major thrill. Also note, you can see in the photo there's a "light." It does not work. But we wanted a light, so we just bought some of those stick on LED battery powered lights. A 3 pack for like $8. Anyway, below the fake light is a spot with the Razor sticker on the front of the bike. It's a perfect spot for a light. We needed puffy 2 sided tape squares to make it stay firmly, but I feel like it's worth it instead of making my kid stop when it's starting to get dark. It's pretty quiet, so your child should be supervised or given major instructions. And for the record, I rode this a couple times myself and it is SO FUN! It feels very sturdy. My husband, who is WAY over the weight limit, rode it and said it absolutely could support his weight. He seemed to be going fast and the scooter didn't seem to drag.

My daughter had grown out of the electric cars that were on the market. My kids are just too damn tall. She is only 7 and my options were limited. This thing was perfect! It was easy to put together and easy to ride. She picked it up very quickly. She'll be able to ride this thing for years to come. The quality of the scooter is surprisingly good. Make sure to watch your kiddos though, it's got some speed. She was zooming around in no time, so I have to make sure that she's geared up before she jumps on. Great purchase so far. A ton of fun.

The best! My girl loves riding her scooter. It goes a good speed and is made really well. I even ride my toddler on it. She was quick to learn as well

She got on it for the first time and was an instant rider. I admit when she first took off on it I was worried. But when she did she was an instant pro. She was 8 years old and she’s rode it a lot, and loves it. It’s a faster bike than I thought it would be, but she hasn’t fallen even once. Control and balance is easy.. Any slower and kids wouldn’t like it. I’ve rode it myself and it’s a blast. Nice job folks constructing this perfect toy that makes a kid feel confident.

I bought this for my daughters six year birthday. I was very hesitant because the parameters stated 13 or older. But in the end I ended up getting the moped and she loves it! I am still unsure of how a 13-year-old can ride it because it would seem pretty small, but my daughter got the hang of it. She still needs a helmet and pads on, for my reassurance, however it is great for her. She’s had it for about three weeks and no issues as of yet. It charges and it last for as long as she intends to ride it. We also like it because she has siblings who ride with her on the back and they both fit (2). Her older sister is eight years old and rides it perfectly. I would recommend it and gave the review because I bought it for my six-year-old who can ride it pretty well. It also holds up to all her roughness as well. She loves it a lot!

I bought this Razor for my nieces age 8 and 6, which i know is quite a bit younger than the recommendation, but they LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! The 8 year old jumped on and was a pro in about 5 minutes and would not get off of it until the battery was drained. The 6 year old did not have the initial coordination so i rode her around on it a couple of times and helped her with the throttle. After one week she too was a pro. As expected it does bog down a bit when going up-hill but on flat land it cruises. Both girls have thanked me numerous times for getting them this gift as they love showing off as they ride through the community.

My 7 year old daughter LOVES this scooter. My only complaint and reason I knocked off a star is the kickstand. It’s hard for me to engage the kickstand myself as an adult, my daughter couldn’t begin to get it done. She has to prop it up against something to keep it upright. Overall very cute and so fun! Just wish the kickstand were easier for a child to engage.

This was literally,I mean literally— the best gift ever! Bought for my daughters 8th birthday after reading all the fantastic reviews. It’s her first ride on,she is very scared to get on fast moving anything lol,but this thing!!! Didn’t even hesitate at all to get on & go! Definitely worth the hype and the extra $$ for sure! She hasn’t came off the thing since her birthday! Begs to ride it everyyyyy single day! Charges pretty fast & stays charged(even without a full battery)..Best battery life out of all my kids ride ons. & not to mention how cute she looks riding on it!

If you are considering this for your child, go ahead and buy it. Please bear in mind my child is 60lbs, and she ride it no problem. No ragrets!

Delivery was quick, set up was easy and charging didn't take long. It's adorable and would be a dream for any girl to have. It's faster then expected and battery lasts a good long time.
