a 250 lb weight rating - good construction, welded at chamfered corners (which is hard to tell from the pics); coated with some type of thick paint which is also good - seems like it def will be rust resistant; not long to put together - about 45 mins doing it by myself. Overall a solid rack and bonus straps, netting and weather proof bag - all for a good price.

Assembled this with almost no issues. Have been using it for my spare tire, spare water containers, huge storage container and have been my paddle and surf boards on top too. Haven’t had any issues!!

Looking for a rack cuz you can never have enough storage. Thule racks can cost $500 so I convinced hubby to give this one a shot. It went together easily even though the instructions were “meh”. Nice powder coating gives it a durable finish. Light enough for me to put on truck myself but still sturdy. This sucker is amazing. It is fully adjustable and seems to me it will fit on just about any roof or truck rack out there. It’s not super deep either, which makes it a little bit easier to store in the garage when we’re not using it. But what may be my favorite part, it hold 4, yes, 4 of the big yellow and black utility totes like it was designed for them. That is a ton of extra storage. It is also small enough that we can still use the double kayak rack or two bike racks beside it. I am in love with this thing. Even the mounting brackets are super solid. The bottom piece has a nice rubber coating to prevent slipping. I love it when my husband tells me I was right. I was sooo right on this one.

This is a great roof basket. Very strong and a great price. I put it on my 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz XRT. It looks great, and holds more weight than most other roof baskets. Assembly and install is also very simple. One thing I would recommend is replacing the bolts and lock nuts with better ones. The ones it came with are cheap pot metal and the head will strip easy. Its very of odd that the basket and mountain hardware are well made, but the bolts are cheap. That is why I gave it 4 stars. Other than the bolt and lock nut issue I am very happy with this roof basket and would recommend it to others.
