Calamine Lotion by Caladryl, Skin Protectant plus Itch Relief, 6 Fl Oz

Very refreshing for sunburn and bug bites. The smell is delicious my grandma used to put a layer of caladryl gently on my sunburn skin, immediate relief. It dries and to remove the pink excess of the residue just take a warm shower, it goes away with water. Not greasy. I absolutely love this product!

Absolutely the best calamine ever. I purchased this product to use on mosquito bites, specifically I had 48 mosquito bites on my legs and arms after a night outside at camp. This calamine not only stopped 98 percent of the itching but it also dried the bites out and helped speed up the healing process. This calamine is a bit thicker formula than the cheaper brands making for ease of applying it on your skin. I will definitely say this calamine is effective and works great. Definitely worth the price, fully recommend.

I used this on a spider bite on my back. It alleviated the itch associated with the spider bite. I have been using product for a really long time since I was a small child. But for whatever reason, I had not purchased this in a while. I was pretty miserable from the itch, and went on-line looking for this product. I applied it to the the spider bite, and the relief was almost immediate. After a few days, the itch was almost completely gone. My only complaint about this product is the thickness. Because the spider bite was in the middle of my back, I had to try and rub it in on a hard to reach area, and it was dripping to other areas before I could rub it in. I had to use the back of a long handled spoon to apply it. It was the only way that I could apply it to the right area. This brand is thicker than some of the other brands of Calamine lotion, but I wish it was thicker. It was near impossible to self-apply to my back because it was a little runny. I wish it was more like a cream or a thicker lotion. Overall, I love this product for itches associated with insect bites. It was effective at relieving the itch.

I read the reviews on everything I buy . One reviewer convinced me to try this and I'm so happy I did! I had gotten a very itchy rash that started in November 2024. I went to the doctor and they prescribed steroid cream. Which didn't do much. Found out some fabrics and laundry detergents give me a rash. I've since switched to no fragrance. But the rash was hanging on a little.Then I came here in Amazon I tried the Benadryl cream nope it just made me itch more after applying it.So then I said ok I'll try this Caladryl Calamine Lotion and I'm pleased to say it worked instantly no itch !! I'm so happy and make sure if you're itchy it's Caladryl brand. It's a mild scent like antiseptic.The color doesn't bother me . .A bit watery but I'm still very happy with the results . It absorbs well . I highly recommend it for value and quick relief!!

I have very oily and sensitive skin so I use calamine lotion as an astringent on my face. It has yet to cause a rash. Calmine lotion has been around for decades which made me feel confident about using it. I have never encountered a packaging issues.

Love this, wish I have knew of it sooner it’ll dry any acne right up and I like the lil pink dots it leaves lol

This stuff is a miracle in a bottle!!! I received my package, opened it, used it and the moment I applied it to my ears it stopped itching!! I'm allergic to PHD stuff that's in hair dye.

I have known this product for many years. I like it better than generic calamine.
