Now that I have one, I can't ever go back. I ended up buying one for home and one for the office or travel. Its small and light enough that I can easily throw it in my purse. This original brand is better than the discount ones. I had actually bought a knock off/discount one for my office at first, but the stiches are much larger and you can't get good control. with these, they stitches are small enough that you don't end up with big gaps. They also are small and flexible enough that they don't itch if its touching your skin. You can go back and forth between the black and white stiches (its not like you have to finish one strip before using the next). They also work well for holding stuff together if you are mending. I know that pins exist, but this is easier for me and I won't stab myself.
