Tachikawa Comic Pen Nib Holder for Various Pen Nib, Model 25 (T-25)

I’m never going back to the metal fit nib holders! The rubber is so much nicer to get a nib into AND out of. So pleased!! This nib holder has done great with almost every type of nib I’ve got. Speedball C’s and B’s, Hunt Imperial, Hunt 107, Brause Arrow, Blue Pumpkin, G nibs, etc etc. One nib holder to rule them all! My Hunt mapping nib is a tiny loose, but still useable; of course my Tachikawa brand one fits snugly. The only brand that does not fit at all are my Leonardt Round calligraphy nibs. (The Leonardt EF Principal does work.) Mitchell nibs fit great though. However, since this is mainly a drawing, not a calligraphy, nib holder, I’m not too fussed about this. It is a shorter holder, which I greatly prefer. The wood feels nice. The grip section is a bit thicker than most holders you find at the craft store, which is easier on the hand. I used it for hours to test it, and had no hand strain or fatigue. It IS shorter than either the Tachikawa T-40 or T-36. This nib holder is just shy of 5” long. If you’ve got big hands or prefer a little more length, try one of the others, which have the same style of rubber nib holder. Overall, I think it’s a great first nib holder, and a great option for paring down an excessive nib holder collection. And you can’t beat the price. 10/10 would recommend!

Its a decent nib holder, my only "problem" is how light weight it is. the size is okay, but i would prefer something bigger, however this is just fully opinion. Great for holding pen nibs, but very light weight. definitely recommend if its your first or if you like having a light hand while doing linework or writing

This is nice stylus and even though I have a larger hand it is still comfortable while working. I have several nibs that belonged to my Grandfather which he carried 20th him during his time in World War II. Curiosity grabbed hold and I just had to try the nibs in my new holder and voila! It fit perfectly as well it wrote like a dream. Between the holder and the nib I am tickled pink, more so the holder also works well with about 95% of my other nibs. There are a few nibs that don't quite fit the stylus but I suspect it is the nib as they are also problematic in some of my other holders as well.

Like the other, fits many nibs, wished I'd have bought this first/instead of some of the others, could have saved some money. Better late than never, priced fine, look forward to using with my nibs.

It was a gift. they really liked it. I see they use it now and its all stained up so it was a win choice. Thats all I know. It gets used and it hasnt broken yet as of this distantly late review.

Excellent nib holder. I was a bit skeptical of the synthetic collet at first but it held the nib securely and insertion & removal of nib is effortless. Would buy again.
