Will the k cup work in other coffee makers other than Keurig coffee makers??

Has there been a bad batch of K-cups going out? So far about 10 of ours have had the grounds come out when brewing. The machine is working perfectly.

I found a few of mine having the coffee grounds issue. To make sure my coffee is drinkable, I have purchased a package of coffee filters and placed one over my cup every time I make coffee. You have to push the filter at least a couple of inches below the top of the cup. If you don't, the coffee will over flow the cup since the filter doesn't allow the coffee to flow through as fast as the Keurig ejects the water. So far, only a few of the pods had the ground issue but what other solution is there? I would rather wast a few filters than pour out a bunch of just brewed coffee!
