I place a dab of Reno'mat on a piece of old t-shirt, and begin rubbing the leather. It quickly breaks down any old polish, oils, etc. There is no need to let it set. It's a fairly soft leather** A: This is a leather stripper/cleaner, and after using you will need to recondition the leather and finish it as desired.
