Ooh, I like this Cherry sugar free syrup. It is potent! Some sugar free syrups taste like sweeteness first and have little actual flavor (many Skinny syrup flavors are like that for me). This is actually flavorful! It reminds me of maraschino cherry "juice"- the liquid that the cherries sit in, but a tad thicker and more flavorful. I use this with my iced matcha (green tea powder). I am not a big fan of the taste of straight matcha, and since I use more than what is necessary, I need something to mellow out the flavor. I love adding pineapple, lemon, or cherry syrup to my iced matcha. I couldn't remember if I had any cherry, so when I stumbled upon this on sale, I scooped it up. Still dont know if I have an open bottle of cherry in my cupboard since as soon as I got this I wanted to try it out for review. I love it! I wish their pineapple and banana were priced like the cherry. Ah well. It also has the flavor that I need when I made a tropical banana bread. It calls for marashino cherries, and while that's fine, it really isnt the cherries that give the flavor but the water it sits in. This cherry syrup is what I will use instead of the mushy jarred cherries. I also on occasion make an "Italian Soda" using club soda and flavor syrup. I would also use this to flavor up a smoothie. Sometimes what I make for myself needs a little something extra tasty to make it taste like anything. Usually I grab for banana or strawberry, but this strong cherry flavor would do it too. its good, and I would buy it again.

I've been looking for a flavored liquid for my water every day. I'm a big fan of the cherry flavor, anyhow, and this really suits me. I usually mix it with some lime juice, too, making my own little version of a cherry-limeaide. I enjoy it, and it really helps to add just enough flavor to my water, that meeting my goals of drinking a certain amount of water every day are much easier!

So I need to update this again... Peach is my all time favorite now... thats the one that I originally said tasted awful because of something I ate it drank. I love to take the peach and mix it with that energy drink in the tall white can over ice. My favorite for making a cherry chai frozen drink. Great taste. Careful what you eat before tasting Peach though. I originally gave it a bad rating but the chemical flavor and awful smell I experienced may have been due to what I had eaten. The next day, it smelled and tasted fine.

I’ve been looking everywhere for Mountain Dew Code Red in zero sugar and couldn’t find it. Decided to try this instead, and it works great—just two pumps in a can of Zero Sugar Mountain Dew and it tastes very close to the real thing. The flavor is a little on the artificial side, but overall it’s a solid substitute.

This syrup tastes good, but is not as cherry flavored as I had hoped. I use it to sweeten my home made kefir and other drinks such as lemonade and seltzer waters. It has a cherry taste, but it's not quite CHERRY enough for me, but still good and calorie free.
