Leather Dressing: Restores and Conditions Leather Boots, Shoes, Automotive Interiors, Jackets, Saddles, Unscented, 5 Ounce Jar

It's truly a great product for restoring boots with signs of wear and tear. My boots had excellent results; it just takes a while to dry, so I waited until the next day to use a polishing brush. I recommend it!

I have a pair of redwing boots that I’ve used lightly for 14 years. They are structurally in amazing shape, but the leather was pretty scuffed up, and the color went from a medium-dark brown to a tannish color. I drive a bus and the uniform policy requires black or dark brown shoes/boots. Most of the time I wear black brooks athletic shoes, but in the winter or when it’s raining I need something warmer and waterproof. I put this on and it made the boots a bit darker than they ever were, which was perfect and what I needed. Should have done before and after photos, but had to leave a review anyway because I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m also happy that the smell putting it on was almost pleasant. I’m super sensitive to smell and other leather treatments I’ve used in the past have made me a bit nauseous. This was enjoyable and simple to use. Didn’t leave streaks or uneven look. As the product and other have stated however, it will make lighter leathers a darker color.

I've had the same container for two years, with plenty of product left, using regularly(mostly weekly if not more) during boot seasons (more than half the year). Super easy to use, looks great, smells good, the boots I treat last longer than the soles.

I have a very special set of Tanker 11” Steel Toe boots from Justin Boots that I use as my daily work set. Bought them back in March of 2017 and they’ve seen a lot of wear and tear for almost ten years now. They’re not the shiny brand new that they once were, but this Boot Guard does the trick to get them to as close to it as possible. My boots have been both dirt and red clay spattered and so what I do is thoroughly wash the dirt and grime off using a soft bristle brush and water and then let them dry. Then, I follow the instructions on the bottle and apply the Vaseline-like gel to it and then let it soak in before I start to dry it off with another cloth and use the brush to really get it restored. It takes some trial and error, but they’ll bring out that nice deep brown look to it. Bear in mind, lighter color boots will darken from using this. My wife loved her light tan boots before she got them real muddy, and then I applied this on and it turned them dark brown. She missed the tan color! All-in-all though, very happy with this. It’s a cheap, but reliable solution and I couldn’t be happier with the results after several applications.

Wish I'd thought to take before and after pictures - WOW! One of the few things I have that used to be my Dad's was an old pair of 16" tall square toed biker boots that I hadn't worn in maybe 10 years. They'd bent at the ankles and were so faded, cracked and brittle that when I discovered them when cleaning a closet I was afraid to even straighten them out. Bought this stuff and it brought them back to life! Took about 10 minutes per boot to rub in and they'd been so neglected that I applied two coats. Yes it darkens the color by a couple shades and the product is a touch greasy going on but it doesn't make the leather slick. Product is from US company - plenty in the jar to do LOTS of pairs of boots. Can't speak to water repellency as I still haven't worn them in wet conditions. Treated them 7 months ago and just checked them - still supple and new looking! Also purchased Dial Industries B350 Boot Shaper Rack, White from Amazon (happy with that purchase too) so now they're not flopped over at the ankles!

Does not cover scuffs.

I used this for my Boulet leather cowboy boots in the fall and they held up excellent in the salt and snow this winter and still look great.

As you can see by my photos that I didn't get a full container. Don't ask me how or why?

Keeps my boots shiny and waterproof

Great for new boots working them in, or old boots to keep the life in them. Use this on my Artist cowboy boots and they shine up great. Excellent way to Protect the leather. Highly recommend
