VERY tiny holes -- you do not one to choose the smallest ones, unless you are doing gloves
These work great however, they are best to use on very light leather, and a fine needle and thread. Its not the products fault that I should have ordered another set that are bigger.

Major upgrade from previous version.
This was a major upgrade for me. The previous ones would jam and took time to fish out the leather or push through. I even used beeswax but didn't make it better. It was annoying but this set is much easier with less maintenance.

Don't expect it to make anything easy
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this because of the positive reviews. I like the changeable tips but the hole punches are not sharp and barely functional as it requires serious hammering. Holes are also too small which makes hand stitching very difficult on veg tan. This might be ok for softer chrome tanned leather where the Holes will stretch a little. Was not happy using with 5/6oz veg tan. Better luck with cheaper options.

Should have been better
Fist look is great. Putting in the round punch pieces and they aren’t tall enough to cut through 8oz with a 2-3oz liner. I tried the chisel points and they got stuck and completely pulled out of maybe 12oz total. Unfortunately I don’t think they can be tightened down enough.

Good tool, nice aesthetic
This is a very nice set of punches and the tubes are pretty sharp and punch through moderate thickness leather. I do not like the tiny allen wrench or hex screws that hold the tube in place. I had to spray paint the allen wrench neon colors to be able to see or find it. Also, the punched leather circles have a tendency to get stuck in the little vents. If the manufacturer wants feedback, please make bigger screws and bigger outputs for the waste leather. Despite these complaints the tool works very well and I have only needed to replace one split tube after about 5 projects.
