It has a bitter taste which takes time to adapt.
Ashwagandhadhi Lehya is a very good product by the Dabur for our health especially in winter seasons. It has many herbs and extracts of medicinal plants which provides a good overall improvement in our health. Regarding the taste, Initially while ordering I thought it might be similar to Dabur Chyawanprash but though it looks similar to Chyawanprash it has its own distinct taste. Its not at all sweet. It has a bitter taste which takes a time to adapt to our taste buds. I thought I would be able to eat it without any supplementary diet but I had to take it with Milk in order to finish the whole spoonful as my mind was continuously fighting with me to throw it away. I had to overcome the fear of bitterness. Once you start adapting to the taste, you will be able to eat it with ease. Just give it some time to your body. Overall its a very good product.

It has strange flavour and really have hard time to have it. Earlier i used Ashwagandhadhi Lehya from Chintaluru Ayurveda, and it had really great taste. Will buy from them only, no more from dabur

Ashwagandha roots have to be purified in desi cow milk for 7 times.
It seems to be the ashwagandha roots are not purified for 7 times in desi cow milk. So the lehyam generating excess heat in the body.
