Smudges are everywhere. No matter how hard you try, they are always appearing. I was looking for more than a simple alcohol wipe, I have those by the score. These are facial tissue size and wetted with something that cuts through oils. They are perfect for cleaning any type of lens from glasses to cameras to cellphone face. Each is packed in it's own tear open packet so you can carry some in your pocket, bag, or purse. And it's from Zeiss! I recommend them. I use mine all the time.

They are on the dry side and aren't the best for cleaning my 14" monitor. For my iPhone and iPad, they are ok bur I think I am better off with a very damp cloth (plain water).

When I first used these, I didn't read HOW to use them. Just swiping the screen doesn't give full benefit. Move your hand in small circles and this gem of a cleaner totally works on all screens!

These wipes are a bit too dry for my liking. They work ok on small surfaces with small smudges. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you need heavier duty cleaning.

How do you rate something that soes exactly what ia meant for?

Until now would give 4 or 5 stars. I’ve used these daily to clean my iPhone screen and Apple clear plastic iPhone case effectively, for months. HOWEVER, in the last box I received a few days ago, the wipes smell STRONGLY of isopropyl alcohol and irritate my nose/throat. Alcohol on this box and all previous I’ve ordered is not listed in ingredient list. It seems they packaged their Lens Cleaning Wipes in the Mobile Cleaning Wipes packaging. I called Zeiss to inform them and felt this matter was not taken seriously as I was told to just return them to Amazon. When I pressed on that there is clearly an issue with them packaging the wrong product, my email address was taken by representative and was told I would hear back from quality control dept. I have not heard anything from them so far. Was also asked at start of call if I would like to rate the call but was not presented with that opportunity. If trying to avoid rubbing alcohol, buy at your own risk. I will be returning that box but am weary to order again out of concern the next box may also contain the wrong wipes (their lens cleaning wipes that have alcohol).

It is dry but soft tissue will not recommend to purchase . The lense wipe are wet but wipe quite hard not soft tissue . Before I used same brand but wipe can be used for both mobile & lense. The tissue was soft.

Great glass cleaner

My mobile has a glass screen protector so my review only applies to similar phones or those with no screen protector at all. The wipes claim to be effective on larger devices including laptops, but I don't have a touch screens on my laptop so can't test that properly. I would say, though, that the wipes are too small to use on a laptop easily and would probably tend to smear. On my phone, the wipes cleared fingerprints and smears well. I wiped very gently a couple of time vertically and then horizontally using the wipe unfolded and then re-folded twice to give a reasonable pad. I gave the screen a minute to dry and examined it under artificial light - to highlight any residual smears. It was perfectly clean apart from a few dust specks - from the air, not the cleaner. A single, gentle wipe with a microfibre cloth fixed that. On cleaning bigger screens, including standard desktops, I have found the following methods the cheapest and most effective. First, these screens can get filthy, even if not touch screens. So, the first step is to get the dirt off. For this I use old lint-free, non-scratch larger wipes that have dried up - never throw these out if unused. Dampen the wipe slightly under the tap and squeeze out most of the moisture - it should not drip even when squeezed. Wipe the screen gently, checking the wipe after each use for dirt and grit. If coloured, do the next wipe using a clean part of the cloth. When no more dirt is coming off the screen, leave it to dry for a minute. Then give it a final gentle wipe with a clean microfibre cloth. That's all you need to do. In particular, I would avoid any spray cleaner. The temptation is to spray the screen - not a good idea! And, even if you spray the cleaning cloth, the tendency is to get it too wet. Similarly, with wet wipes, these are expensive and often too small and too thin for the larger screens, even when folded.
