How often do you wax your otters? If you wax your otters once a month 2 otters should go through 12-24 bars per year.

How many otters were harmed in the making of this product?

No otters are harmed in the making of our products. Our products do not contain any otter by-products. The only animal by-products we utilize are beeswax and lanolin, both of which are sustainably and humanely harvested without any harm coming to the animal.

Could i wax a hoodie with desirable results?

Most of the hoodies I'm familiar with are made from cotton jersey material, which won't wax up very well. Our Fabric Wax works best with stiffer fabrics such like canvas.

Can I use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun?

You can on small projects, if the hair dryer is on too long the motor will burn out. You can also use the summer to your advantage by placing your waxed fabric in the sun until the wax is melted then let it cool. If it's a single layer of fabric, not a lined jacket, you can place the fabric between two pieces of parchment paper and iron it. I was going to try a new method of using a heating pad under the fabric, I'm not sure yet if it will work but it seems like it would. If you just put on a light layer you can rub it in with your fingers. Many different ways to get the wax worked into the fabric just pick which is right for your project.
