Bamboo Garment Coat Clothes Hanging Heavy Duty Rack with top shelf and 2-tier Shoe Clothing Storage Organizer Shelves

Pros: Looks great For everything that I wanted this coat rack to do and the materials I wanted it to be made of, I found this to be an affordable, space-efficient piece. Holds everything I want it to. It holds several heavy coats just fine. I've heard some people complain about the durability of the piece. Yeah, don't stand on it or be rough with it, but once it's assembled it does the job I need it to do beautifully. It shouldn't have any problem holding these items. Cons: If you gloss over the instructions like I did, you're going to have a rough time with assembly. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, but analyze each picture and read all instructions for each step FULLY before going to assemble. This coat rack will have several pieces that are identical to one another that must be used in different ways. It's easy to switch pieces around to where they shouldn't be. I've assembled several very cheap pieces of furniture where screw holes don't quite align right, but this is NOT the case with this coat rack. If you have to force it to fit right, you're doing it wrong. The screws go in very easily.

We recently moved into a new apartment and to our avail, we found there to be less-than-desirable closet space for our clothes. The solution? This bamboo rack! It's beautiful and fits the rustic nature theme we have in our pad. We feel confident about displaying this in our bedroom. You're getting exactly what's advertised here. The con? It's not as sturdy as you'd expect. We had a funny moment when our cat jumped on top of it from our bed and tumbling it over towards the wall. However, that was when I just built it and it was empty, filled with clothes it's a lot sturdier and safe. If you have kids just don't let them treat it like a swingset.

We thought this would be a nice addition to handle clothing overflow. Well it is a nice piece but the instructions were anything but a slam dunk for a piece with so few parts. Not fun trying to decipher them. The funny part is they give you a pair of gloves to 'protect your hands'. Cute. Also the included hardware seemed to be different from what was supposed to be included. The bottom line is: the instructions were not good and not in a clear, concise way. For all you do-it-yourselfers - this probably won't deter you.

As noted, it is relatively nice quality, looks good and serves the purpose of having a place to hang clothes and a low shelf for perhaps shoes, and a high shelf for folded clothes. So, recommend it, however, would give 5 stars and enthusiastically recommend it, if it had a second top shelf allowing for more folded clothes and therefore also took advantage of all the left over space between the top of the unit and the ceiling. And, for the $90 price, would provide more appropriate value for cash as well, as the current unit while nice and attractive enough, is not worth $90. Perhaps $70-75, but not $90. Add more height, a second top shelf, and, sure, now worth $90. So, lower this price or add another shelf on top. Lastly, the unit is sturdy enough, it could hold me, 235 lbs., sitting on it. However, it does sway a fair bit as you push the clothes off to one side to hang another garment. If they added small triangular blocks to key corners it would improve that issue immensely while further adding to the perception of quality. KWL

At first I was worried it was going to break mid-assembly. The directions were also a bit unusual but I managed to finish it within 3 minutes. Pay attention to the images for the bottom shelving or you’ll waste a few minutes undoing two screws to flip it around lol. I use this for some clothing. Sturdy to hang the coats on. That horizontal back bracing bar? It’s at the perfect height so your 13” cube storage bins from target or bed bath and beyond don’t get pushed back too far and fall off. The 12” high cubes will also be okay. So if you have 11” cubes, don’t push back too far or they’ll fall off or hit the wall.

At first I thought this product would not hold up with the heavy garments and items I planned to use it for, but it has been holding up well and there is close to no flexing in the rod. The bamboo seems thin but it is strong! I am loving this new rack!! I wish this was a little bigger, but this is definitely great purchase and bang for your buck! Update: Just wanted to add that this is still great! However it is hard to clean under, wish the bottom rack had some more clearance. Still highly recommend!!

I bought it to use as plant stand, particularly for my hanging plants. I love it! It’s sturdy and it came with all of the pieces. I like that there were extra screws and the tools included a screw driver, two Allen wrenches, and work gloves (nice touch!). I was able to put it together by myself (5 foot 3 woman), although, it would have been easier with a second person. It would be nice if it was offered in different colors as I’m thinking of painting mine. Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.

Was able to put this together myself in about 30 mins. Wood is rather splintery but nothing serious. Got flustered with the instructions but if you manage to keep your head together it is pretty easy. Fit nicely in my room, was able to fit 8 pairs of shoes on the bottom rack, all of my seasonal clothes on the bar, and 4 potted plants on the top shelf. It adds a nice bohemian boutique vibe. Had to tie the bottom of my dresses as they are obviously too long for the rack but long shirts fit nicely, overall really happy!
