This capacitor is used for starting and operating one-way motors such as Motor Run or Heat Pump, Air Conditioner or Straight Cool Condenser. It is small in size, lightweight, heat-resistant and anti-explosion. Model: CBB65 (Universal Model). Case material: unpainted aluminum case. Dielectric material: metallized polypropylene film. Available Capacitance: 7.5uf. Capacitance Tolerance:±6%. Operating temperature: -40°C to +70°C/-104℉ to +158℉. Frequency:50/60Hz. Operational Life: 60,000 hours with 94% survival. This one arrived in perfect condition, and tested out at exactly 7.59 uF. If you don’t know anything about how these work, do yourself a favor and ask for help. Changing this out is a simple 5-minute job, but capacitors store electricity, and can potentially be fatal if you don’t respect them. Before you do anything, turn off all power to the system. Lay a screwdriver across both terminals of this VEXUNGA capacitor, and the installed one, before you touch it. That will discharge any stored electricity, and make it safe. A: Only use a hard start kit if it's old and staring. They come in a range of sizes.

**Q: will this work for replacing 97F9899 Genteq Capacitor?**
A: The capacitor is a 45/5.  The 45 for the hermetic and 5 for the fan.  The voltage should be in range.  The number should be on your old capacitor.  The data I have states that it will work.

**Q: My old capacitor has a 5% tolerance rating. Can I replace it with this one which is rated at 6%?**
A: The tolerance rating is not as important as the voltage rating. Your 220VAC system can be as high as 230VAC. The tolerance is referring to the amount of farads, which will make your motor run faster or slower.

My pool heater stopped working because blower motor didn't start. I would hear a buzzing sound like electronics were turning on, but the blower would blow any air. Did some research online and turned out the culprit is faulty capacitor required to start turning motor. I matched the Farad rating of the motor with the capacitor. Voila. Problem solved with this capacitor. This capacitor works fine. Safety reminder - Just make sure you discharge the old and new capacitor (in case someone returned it) before handling, so you don't shock yourself.
