I’ve been wearing Vionic flip flops every summer and they are great, but still don’t give me enough support when out and about. Are they gorgeous on my foot? Maybe not. But oh my goodness, they are like walking on a pillow. The cushion in the heel is amazing. They are soft and cushy and make walking or standing for long periods of time so much easier. My feet are not sore by the end of the day. Someone else mentioned needing to break these in. I did not have that issue. They fit great and were comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear a size 8.5, but remember in a shoe with an arch support that it lifts your foot and you wear a half size or so smaller. I ordered an 8 and they are perfect. The arch support in Vionic footwear is exactly what I need. I usually wear toe post sandals in the summer, but decided to try these sandals because they had such good reviews. I also have an arthritic big toe joint and anything tight over that joint is painful so an added plus with these sandals was the adjustable Velcro straps over the toes and ankle. It feels like walking on a soft, thick rubber pad - very cushiony and comfortable. Normally I wear I size 8 walking sneaker, but as with the toe post sandals, I ordered a size 7 and the sandals fit perfectly with even a little extra space at the end of the toes.
