I'm glad I got the XL size. I can easily carry a Glock 19 and a spare magazine in the gun compartment section of the bag. The remaining compartments are large enough to carry other edc items I typically use such as my cell phone, flashlight, Leatherman tool, tourniquet, good pocket knife, tactical type pen, band aids, keys, small pill box and a few other things I often venture out with. I find this bag more comfortable to carry as a sling bag and it's easier to draw from in this configuration for me. Overall I really like this bag and am very pleased with it.
