Express Water – Alkaline Water Filter Replacement – Mineral, Antioxidant, pH+ – 10 Inch – Under Sink and Reverse Osmosis System

This system provides high alkaline water at my sink! This is our second year with this system. The water in this area is not as clean as it should be, with a high level of rock/grain, a salty taste, and at times a high chlorine taste. This system handles all of that, and makes our water drinkable. Highly recommend if you live in an area that doesn't deliver the best water.

Just thought i give it a try and while it doesn't really do a lot of filtering, adding minerals makes the water taste so much better! Worth the buy. Replacing it once a year. Makes me drink a lot more water :-)

1/4 quick connections on bothe sides. Super easy to install. I ordered a quick connect shut off so next time I can just shut it off and not have to shut my main off. I noticed there's a little flavor if the water sits while its brand new. If you run some through poor it out then get your cup it tastes just fine. I assume this goes away when the filter gets gallons through it. It make my ph go from a 6.5 ish to well over 8.5. I used a pool strip to test and both the ph and alk are a lot higher than the scale reads.

after the reverse osmosis system strips the water, this filter replaces the minerals needed to give you the perfect water. it is beneficial for the perfect drinking water. I have no way of knowing when it is time to replace, I just replace when I think it is needed. rough guessing.

Initial taste was too heavy for my family. We thought it was ok the second day if we would pour an entire pitcher, so the water that sat in the cartridge would be diluted. After a few days and flushing it out a lot the taste was acceptable to everyone. Now we don't think about it, but are happy to have the added finish/remineralization. PPM without the RO was 300, with about 3, with this finishing cartridge about 30.

I'm probably deficient in minerals or something, because with any reverse osmosis filtered water I try, I can feel the difference. I'm not sure how to describe it besides a "washed out" feeling - like I'm still thirsty after drinking a whole glass and I pee it out soon after. Enter this alkalizing filter: it replaces the minerals stripped away in the reverse osmosis process. I've been using these filters in Africa for two years, and I've never needed a supplement of electrolytes with a fairly balanced diet. Highly recommend these if you have the proper product and notice that you just can't get enough water.

We tried water without this filter, then bought and installed this filter - the water became much tastier. Easy to install, the water becomes tastier and healthier.

True alkaline filters are hard to obtain - most raise alkalinity strictly by addition of Calcium Carbonate. These Express Water units bumped my PH up from below 7.0 to just overf 10.0. They incorporate minerals that increase PH by adding other critical minerals besides Calcium.
