Spigen Neo Hybrid Case Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - Gunmetal

Great looking case as usual from Spigen, perfect fit on the Note 9 with all the cutouts properly thought out so it's big enough for charging cable and accessories, easy access to the s-pen but all without compromising protection. I also find it comfortable to use, not the slimmest case but certainly grippy in the hand, I don't understand how others have criticised this aspect? The Note is a large heavy phone with a big vulnerable curved screen so protecting it is an extra challenge compared to most phones but the neo-hybrid case performs admirably. I have unwittingly dropped it a couple of times onto hard surfaces and the mass of the phone creates a sickeningly solid impact but protection has been equally solid - no damage. The clincher for me was an unfortunate accident in January - I came off my motorbike and went into and under an oncoming car. Stupidly I only had half my protective gear on, my trousers were the cotton ones I wear for work with my phone in the left pocket. Predictably I ended up with several broken bones including both legs and tyre tracks down my left side right over the pocket plus various other injuries around the same area. I was broken but the phone is pristine, see photo for how the case handled it. Despite my stupid clothing decision I certainly made the right choice in phone case, it is battered but still giving full protection. I have chosen to retire the neo-hybrid for now but have happily replaced it with another Spigen case as it leaves me confident to enjoy my ridiculously fragile phone. Honestly, who thought curved slippery glass both sides was ever a good idea?!

Good protection, my phone flew from my coat pocket and hit the the ground. I did not have a screen protector of any kind, just this case. The case worked well and did its job perfectly, no damage to my note 9 at all. For this I am very pleased. However, durability I have scored a bit lower. As where it landed on the left corner, that corner plastic has snapped off. So just the rubber there go protect it now. Overall, good value and it did its job well.

Good case, solid protection. The only drawback is it makes the phone a bit bulky and heavy for an already big phone

I've been using Spigen cases for a number cases for a few years, yes I've tried others but keep coming back to Spigen cases. They always fit perfectly and are not too bulky, couple this with Whitestone Dome screen protector and you have a great combination for protection.

Probably the best case out there for the note 9. Excellent protection, slimline with a perfect fit and stylish.

Perfect fit and a quality, robust build. Doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone either. Looks great in the gunmetal finish. Paired it with the matching screen protector.

Realy good case combination when using a glass screen protector, dropped my phone 3 times so far and no damage, also has a good about it, only down side is the paint on the metal bit has rubbed of slightly,

The Case feels great when its on the phone! Offers a fair amount of protection. However i put 4 stars for sturdiness, this is because the plastic trim that goes around the silicone housing feels every cheep, i have to be extra cautious when taking it of the case because it feels as if its about to break or snap. However it does not effect the over all case when is is put together on the phone. Over all i really like the case.

Nice feel, cut outs are clean and allow access easily. Especially finger print reader.

I've dropped my phone countless times and I've had not a single shred of damage...not a scratch, ding, dent, scrape or crack. I've been buying Spigen for a while now since my son got one a few phones ago. When I'm at home or driving and need to charge my phone I use the port at the bottom, which Spigen left a generous hole for, in case you're using large or aftermarket chargers. There is also a hole for the microphone, so that I can be well heard, without mufffling my voice, a hole for the headphone jack and a hole for the S-Pen (I'm using the Note 9). All of these are as generous as possible without compromising the integrity or protection of the case itself. All of the access holes are also beveled to sort of 'direct' whatever you're plugging in. The case has a hard metal shell on the outside, with a soft rubbery (TPU maybe) interior, but (more convenient than most two-piece phone cases, the whole thing slides on and off in one piece. I don't remove the case often, but at least once every couple of months to wipe off the dust that collects under the case (dusty environment and dusty pocket, not the fault of the case or the phone). To this point I have not had any trouble with the case holding just as solidly as it did in the beginning...some other cases that I've used in the past tended to get stretched out over time and not stay on quite as well. Even though this case protects quite well, it is also very thin and doesn't interfere with wireless charging which is how I charge when I'm at my desk at work. I'm an IT guy so I use my phone constantly and I've received compliments on this case...it isn't showy, but it is nice looking and it definitely does its job. My wife usually buys 4-5 cases whenever we get new phones and she tends to switch them out every once in a while, so that she actually ends up using maybe 2-3 of them. For me, I just go look at Spigen and it lasts until I replace the phone. One small annoyance is that the back of the case could be a tad more rubbery/grabby. I usually drive with my phone sitting on my leg (I don't use it while driving, that's just a convenient spot) and I've had it slide off.

I bought this phone case almost 2 years ago when I first got Note 9. I find it very durable. I can't remember how many times I dropped my phone. This phone case has save my phone many times. But due to wear and tear, the phone case died recently.... and I bought a new set again. Same design, same colour.

I bordi sono rinforzati con un materiale rigido, che all'apparenza sembra metallo con finiture assolutamente di pregio. La parte frontale ha la parte superiore e inferiore leggermente rialzata in modo da proteggere anche la parte anteriore del cellulare. Unico difetto riscontrato se cosi si può definire è che il bordo laterale aumenta la dimensione del note 9 e in larghezza incide leggermente sul design del dispositivo, anche se la soluzione incrementa notevolmente la protezione laterale contro le cadute dello stesso. Consiglio assolutamente l'acquisto per il design e per il rapporto qualità prezzo tenuto conto dei materiali impiegati e delle finiture e assemblaggio generali.

Perfect. Can't say aythib more about this cover. I've been using Spigen for almost 6 years now, and it has been my absolute companion and strongest recommendation for a protective case for any phone for that matter. I've had my phone dropped on the floor, the road, and god knows where else.. But spigen always performed! This case is no less. Yeah it does bulk up the phone a bit, but I'd rather bulk up my phone than damage... But yeah, it's only a bit and nothing more. Looks stunning in the gun metal colour that I got. And seems this is gonna hold pretty well, as my earlier ones. Kudos to spigen to keep doing the great work that they've been doing with their phone cases... I'd never move to any other brand for my phone covers.
