These are top notch, honestly the best I’ve found online and for the price it’s a steal. They have no odor, they look great and are true to weight. I purchased these for my leg press machine. Highly recommend.

For the price you can't get anything better. These plates look and feel super high quality. They're solid and gorgeous enough to make you want to use them.

After spending time in the hospital, I needed to builder my arms and shoulders back up. I wanted some fractional at two ana a half pounds, and I didn't want to spend a lot, so I headed to Cap Barbell weight plates, and I chose the Classic - Grey Set of 6 2.5lb weight plates. I find that if you're on a budget, you can't go wrong with Cap. The plates arrived in a box, each plate wrapped to protect it, and they look exactly like the listing photos. The finish wasn't perfect, but it was perfect for my needs. I weighted the plates - three weighted 2.57 pounds, one weighed 2.58 pounds, and two weighed in at 2.61 lbs. Since they're not calibrated plates, that's plenty close enough. Btw, I've had a few other of their plates in classic grey for years - some 25 lb plates, 10 lb plates and a couple 5 lb plates, all with the same finish, and none have rusted. I also have four 45 lb bumper plates. They're all still in regular use with no issues. I'm quite happy with these plates. They're close enough to the stated weight, especially when you consider the price, and they're protectively wrapped to avoid chipping. Maybe I've been lucky, but Cap has been a great budget option for me.

Good quality circular weights that slide onto my weight bench for leg lifts they are smooth enough to use alone for weight workout similar to kettle bells.

CAP Barbell 2-inch Olympic Weight Plate(s) I have purchased a single ten and 25lb to date. The finish is okay to dangerous (I had to get the file out due sharp edges in the interior on the 25. No issues on the 10). I didn't bother weighting for precision nor do I plan to as they fit my needs perfectly for a DIY fitness project. I can't speak on how long they will last either. They do fit on a barbell though. If you are new to lifting or looking for a workable budget option they do the job well. Just don't expect Rogue or REP level quality. I took one star off because of the cut and file work.

This is my third time buying these weights for my dumbbell handles. I now have 28 of these. They are well made with consistent and accurate weight. The shipping box has improved. The first purchase of several sets came in boxes that were too weak for the weight. 1 plate was missing. I contacted the seller and they refunded the 4 plate set cost. I definitely recommend these for your home gym.
