Well, it was a nice 1 month and week that it lasted. Does it help cool off your place and facilitate ventilation? Oh yes it does! It blows air like a fan should and does it an excellent job of it. Just don’t bump into it, not even a light bump. Otherwise the blades will break and the fan becomes unstable and worthless. It didn’t even fall over and the blade assembly still did the humpty dumpty, causing the fan to violently wobble. Lightly bumping the fan though not enough to knock it over but also somehow destroy the blade assembly also voids the manufacturers warranty, as it is considered “accidental handling” and not covered. Look, I get that I could’ve been more graceful in that moment, but a single small bump bricks the whole thing? Weak sauce, and not “Built To Last.” So if you buy it, so make sure to pay for the Amazon coverage. After declining my warranty request, their customer service recommended to not use it anymore, which is totally reasonable. They then offered to recommend companies I could buy a replacement blade. That’s fine, as I feel confident in my ability to replace a fan blade, but there’s only one screw to access the grill and no accessible tabs to pull it off go access the blades. You can pry it up a little bit, but not remove it completely. The service and owners manuals contains no information about how to remove the grill. Planned obsolescence at its finest. I’d at least hope for a couple years of use out of a box fan. In short, If you’re the type of person that thinks a box fan should be treated with the same level of fragility as your grandma’s china collection, then this will work well for you. This fan is anything but “built to last”, but if you can keep it in the same place forever where nothing can ever touch it except your hand to adjust the dial, then I suppose the claim might be valid.

Ok. I like these fans. They are fairly quite and extremely light weight. However, be aware that one of the reasons they are lightweight is that the fan blades are lightweight. This means that they are also a bit fragile. One fell from the window while on and the blades ate themselves, three of the five blades just disintegrated. On another one, I was moving while on and the blades were not stiff enough to overcome the centripetal force and briefly brushed up against the outer grill. So be aware: Do not move these fans while they are on and rotating.

This fan was great for cooling my small apartment. Maybe a little noisy- I wasn't at all bothered by it but I'm usually not bothered by things like that. The fan itself is not durable or super sturdy- my cat brushed up against it gently which caused it to fall and the blades inside all broke. Wish it has something sturdier to help it stand up, but overall for the price a good buy if you don't have animals or kids.

I like this fan a lot, it's noisy and large, (which is exactly what I wanted), has a lot of good air flow, so much that even turning it diagonally pushes air towards me and to my wall. however it's impossible to take apart to clean it and I thought I was going to break it when I did finally get it apart. but overall it does exactly what I need it to do.

Pretty good. Does what I need it too but not terribly powerful. OK to put in a window to bring in cool air but won't blow you away.
