Defective
Ordered this part in a crunch to get the screen door fixed and I got a defective part…. Can’t even twist it to fit the pin in. It just won’t fit

Andersen storm door closer kit.
We bought this kit to replace off brand closers we purchased at one of the big box stores. Our older Andersen full view foor is kind of heavy, and the off brand closers either let it close too slow or too fast. Rarely if ever latching. After installing this kit the door closes like it did when new and latches every time. All for about $10 more than off the brand closers. A+.

It works well n has top n bottom to slow a very heavy storm door. Can still "slam" closed with winds, so not perfect
