Whilst looking for a replacement I noticed that the Amazon description mentioned a 'lifetime warranty' so I emailed Neet Cables on Sunday. Within hours on the Sunday I received a courteous reply that they rarely have any issues with this product and would gladly replace the cable. I received the replacement in the Tuesday morning post, connected it to the projector and problem solved it displayed as expected.Rarely do you encounter this sort of customer support nowadays and when you do it is gratifying to be able to bring it the attention of any prospective customers as a reassuring and important aspect that can be considered in the purchasing decision. I am one very satisfied customer, thank you Danny and Neet Cables.Additional commentI have just seen amongst the other reviews one from Henry Trull in America who received the same response as myself. (Not any more - beware MBA owners) *by D***C on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2010* **Review update** - I have "upgraded" from a MacBook Pro to a MacBook Air - which has failed to connect to 3 different projectors using this adapter. If you look on Apple's own site even the official Apple adapter seems to have mixed success rates depending on type of projector/type of VGA cable, etc. So this is not necessarily a problem with this adapter, more an issue with the new MacBook Air. So, on 3 occasions I have been unable to present using my laptop. You may want to consider that if you are using a MacBook Air.This works fine connecting my MacBookPro 13" model to a VGA based projector.The projector (Panasonic brand, can't recall the model) detected straight away, defaulted to basic 800x600 resolution but easy to set to the better 1024x768 via display preferences. I have it set as a second display so my keynote presentation is on the wall and the notes are on my laptop screen, no problems at all. Build quality very good. Few pounds cheaper than the official Apple one but does the same job for me.Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not managed to make it work yet - but great service from Neet *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 September 2012* I have tried this adapter with a VGA projector (which works fine on Windows PCs), and with a 2 year old widescreen TV/Monitor (which works fine on my old Linux PC).
