Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Vol. 1 Review: In love😍 - I've heard about Code Geass before and decided to give it a try! The book came pretty quickly and in great condition! The story is about a boy named Lelouch who inherits powers from a strange girl on a spacecraft and uses them to rebell against the cruel world he lived in for the sake of his crippled sister Nunnally and I won't spoil anymore you! It's a must read and I'm sure you'll like it if your into to the sci-fi stuff or even if you aren't! 10/10 Review: Obessessed with Code Geass - So i bought this manga because i finished the anime a month ago and i cant stop thinking about it so i was like why don't i read the manga too. The manga is good but there are some really different parts compared to the anime. there's only a few things that are just like the anime or its like out of order but overall i still loved it and i plan on getting book 2!

Love it!
I purchased this manga because I watched the anime and absolutely loved it from beginning to end. I am very happy with this purchase, I snagged it for cheap since it was slightly used and it shipped fast and was in practically new condition. Really hope I can get the rest of the series soon! I definitely recommend it.

A Great Start
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion 1 is definitely one of the fastest page turners that I have read. The book immediately launches the reader into the story and reveals essential details as they come along. It is fast paced storytelling at its best. The story basically follows the two intertwined stories of Lelouch (royal blood) and Suzaku (honorary Britannia) as they live in this Area 11 (Japan that was taken over by Britannia). Lelouch is imbued with a power from an unknown woman and he makes a promise to destroy Britannia to make the world a better place. Suzaku is on a different storyline and seems to be on a path to be in leagues with a scientist who works with the empire. There is also one more character, Kallen who is half Japanese and half britannian, who is in leagues with a resistance force. Her and Lelouch have multiple run ins. With this setup of positions and characters, it will be interesting to see where they end up in the next volume The art design is quite appropriate however in the afterword, it could be done better in the next volume as the author seems to imply (ie inconsistencies with the character details and designs). Ultimately this one ends in a sort of psuedo cliffhanger which leaves us dying to know what happens in the next book. Pros -Read in the traditional manga format -Few characters make it easy to see their motives and follow them -Fast pacing never bores the reader -Borders on the line of science fiction and military/rebellion relations -Nice artwork Cons -Really fast paced, most people will read it through in less than 2 hours -A few murky parts make for rereading of several previous panels a few times -Ending leaves you dying for the next novel! Ultimately a great first entry in the series and one that wont be soon forgotten. The most of the Code Geass anime that I have seen was part of the first episode and this one helped explain many of the details that were confusing to me in that episode. This is an awesome book series and I cant wait for more books to come out. A must have for anyone 13 and up.

His majesty, Lelouch vi Britannia
Britannia commands the Americas in this alternative history where humanity is advance in terms of technology but are plagued with war. This series needs no summary as it's one of the best anime known out there.

Fantastic Condition And A Great Manga

Code Geass is one of the rarer cases where it was first an anime, not a manga or light novel. As such the best way to experience the story is the anime however I'm far more in favour for physical mangas so when I saw a copy for around £10 I had to grab it. It's certainly more of a collectable and show off piece than to read the series - to collect it all would be painstaking due to how rare they are - with it's simpler art style and cut content from the anime but still a solid book. Although I'd heavily recommend the anime first.
