Looking for a very good espresso/latte coffee at a really good price? Try this one. Cutting open the bag the aroma was very promising.......coffee as coffee should smell. I set my Iberital grinder to the finest setting and these beans ground perfectly. I like my espresso strong and long so 20grms in and 60ml out. The very first extraction was IMO perfection...just how I like my espresso. The pull was IMO perfect...no channeling, no spitting just a lovely swirl to a central crema flow. Taste was, again IMO, how espresso should be...strong, not acidic or sour with a lasting flavour of coffee(what else?) chocolate and that certain something that defies description but you know comes from a good espresso. I have bought from Rave, Pact, Spiller & Tait and others....all are lovely espresso/latte coffees but at a much higher price point and it is that which helps this coffee (CREMA COFFEE BEANS) top my list of beans to keep in store. Will I buy again? Most certainly. These will be my every day go to beans. Will I buy others? Sure ...we all need variety but others will be purchased only a few times a year now I have found these. IMO...At this price and with this resultant espresso these beans can not be beaten.

Good everyday coffee beans. Nice flavour and works well in my coffee machine. Smooth taste without being too strong. Great value for the price.

My partner adores coffee and is always on the look out for a decent everyday coffee that is affordable and he can just enjoy. I think we’ve found it with this one. The smell as you opened the bag was gorgeous. The bean colour is promisingly dark, they're nicely roasted, and you can tell that they're fresh. We tried it with a manual grinding machine, and with an electric one, and both gave great results. My partner and I are at different ends of the coffee scale; he likes a strong coffee, and I prefer mine to be milder, but somehow this suited us both. The flavour is rich and strong, but it’s also smooth with no bitterness. We will still drink other coffees, but this one is going to be the one we stock up on, especially as it has a decent shelf life, too. Happy to recommend.

We get through a lot of coffee in our house, so I wanted something affordable but still delicious these are a great find. They smell fresh, make a lovely crema, and the flavour is smooth and chocolatey without any harsh bitterness. I also love that they come in two 500g bags so the second stays fresh. Not fancy artisan coffee, but for everyday drinking the quality and value are spot on. I’ll definitely be buying again.

Decent value beans but certainly bitter for a light roast. If you have your machine on max grind you’ll need to turn it down to get anything like a light roast espresso - otherwise it was very bitter for me. The flavour itself is good though once you’ve adjusted the grind and aroma and you’ll get a good crema if using a decent machine.

Excellent no frills everyday coffee. Nice flavour and aroma, fresh tasting, comes out great from my ninja luxe. Just a great budget friendly everyday coffee.

Es un café en grano que encaja muy bien para el día a día: cómodo, resultón en taza y con un plus de conciencia por el sello Rainforest Alliance. Qué me he encontrado en general. Es el típico blend para espresso “fácil de beber”: tueste claro‑medio, nada quemado, sin ese amargor duro que tienen algunos cafés de bar baratos. Lo veo muy pensado para quien quiere un café rico pero sin complicarse con cosas de especialidad ni perfiles súper frutales. Sabor y uso en casa. En taza sale un café de cuerpo medio, bastante equilibrado: ni acuoso ni mazacote, con toques más bien dulces y algo tostados, perfecto para tomar solo o con leche. Donde mejor rinde es en espresso corto o café con leche/cappuccino de diario; no es el típico café que impresiona, pero sí el que apuras sin darte cuenta. El punto fuerte es la crema: si tu molido y tu máquina están medio bien ajustados, saca una capa densa y dorada que aguanta bastante. Para superautomáticas y molinillo doméstico es un grano agradecido: no es especialmente delicado y suele dar tiros bastante consistentes. El sello Rainforest Alliance suma: sin ser un café gourmet, al menos sabes que hay un mínimo estándar ambiental y social detrás del grano. En formato 500 g (muchas veces en packs) suele salir bastante bien de precio, así que para café de batalla “decente y responsable” cumple más que de sobra.
