Great purchase to save some space! I live in a small one bed/one bath home and have a decent bit of space dedicated to my computer/home office. I really wanted to reclaim that space, so I decided to look into lofted beds. This one caught my eye because it has stairs instead of a ladder, and no desk included (which is great for me, I've already got a desk I like). The upsides: -looks pretty much exactly like the picture -nice black metal, feels sturdy -works great with magnets! I used some magnetic hooks to hang curtains on mine -lots of storage space under the stairs -ideal height for a useful sitting space underneath the bed -though heavy, it's not too hard to maneuver once it's built The downsides: -definitely takes two people to put together. My dad is a mechanic and we've put together some complicated items, but this still took us about 5-6 hours. You'll want a friend, a Bluetooth speaker, and a power drill before buying this! Plus a big space to assemble the items. This isn't necessarily a downside, but definitely worth noting. -stairs are steep and quite narrow. I'm a small woman but have broad shoulders and hips, and the stairs are not very comfortable to use (although they do work and feel pretty sturdy). This is actually what prompted me to write this review. The size is listed in the pictures as 15.6", which is maybe 4" shy of being more comfortable for an adult to use this.

Built pretty easily, directions were clear, took awhile to assemble lots of pieces. Super sturdy, my son loves the stairs which have storage underneath. Easier to get into a loft than a ladder.

I am thoroughly impressed with this full-size loft bed with stairs and storage. I am recently widowed after 45 years of being loved and valued. Still grieving, I needed to change things around in order to move on with my new situation. I originally considered this loft bed as a guest bed with nook but instead, I decided to use it for myself in a different downstairs room. This bed seemed perfect, having looked at every other option I could find on Amazon and Google. The big plus of this loft bed are the sturdy stairs instead of a ladder. (My husband and I had climbed a ladder to get into our sleeping attic, and I don't want to do that anymore.) Of equal consideration, this loft bed had the highest weight capacity, with knee braces for more stability. The instructions, with a different diagram for each step, were excellent. However, due to a temporary brain freeze, I made a mistake and destroyed two pieces of hardware. Customer service was AMAZING! Jimmy, the customer rep, answered my inquiry very quickly and was patient and courteous. I felt that he bent over backwards to help me. The replacement parts came super-fast. Thanks, Jimmy! After that, the rest came together with no problem. Every part fit perfectly. This loft bed has exceeded my expectations. My new 8" mattress finally came, and I've slept like a baby on my new bed for three nights now and counting. There is just a small amount of creaking, not a problem. I feel very safe. The stairs are easy and safe to negotiate, even in the dark. My husband is probably quite amused in the afterlife, having supported all of my crazy ideas throughout our life together. I am 100% satisfied with this loft bed. Some thoughts: I was able to construct the bed without any help EXCEPT for that one step of flipping the bed from its side to vertical. It took my friend and me 3 minutes to do. You MUST read the instructions carefully, and you MUST understand what you are doing before you try to do it. Tighten all the screws again after you think you are done; that will help with the creaking. You MUST be careful going up and down the stairs; one slip and you could hurt yourself. I am 5'-6", 125 pounds, moderately agile & limber; if you are taller, heavier or stiffer, you may have a different experience.

Pretty straight forward to assemble. Took about 5 hours with some help from my partner here and there. Great to make a small space seem larger. My 10 year old daughter and I will share this bed from time to time and it says it has a 500Ib capacity so we should be fine because with the mattress and both of us it’s around 280 pounds. Will update if anything changes. Not very creeky at all. Feels very sturdy. You can assemble the stairs on the left or right. Also a lot of space underneath and great storage in the stairs. Love the little coat rack. Would recommend.

I am loving this bed!! - I got the Queen Sized! I am currently going through a 12X24 lofted shed to a tiny home conversion and I was looking for any way to maximize space & provide easy access to my loft. Well this has done it! Putting it together was no joke. At first I made a few mistakes and had to correct them(Make sure to look closely at the illustrations to see where the tiny holes are, they act as guidance for how to position the piece) but once I got the hang of it it was much easier. There are 47 individual steps to putting together and if you are complexly solo like I am, that means getting really creative and having a load of patience because you really really need 2 people (make sure you are 100% certain on which side you want your stairs, there is no going back once you begin), HOWEVER I was able to complete this on my own in 1 day, one very very long day and I am almost 50 and I don't have the best of health, stamina or strength. At first I thought it was going to be to big, but after some moving around and organizing I am really digging the look and it has totally changed the layout and space in my tiny home and thus the entire vibe. And best of all I can climb the stairs, crawl across the bed and, TaDa!, I am right in my loft space, the easy access is going to allow me to make even more space like YaY!!!! As for quality? I feel secure and safe in the bed, on the stairs and hanging out under the loft. I have a tiny amount of squeak and wobble but that's only because I have not anchored it to the wall as of yet. I can only imagine that once I do that those things will disappear. 10/10 I do recommend!
