All the kids love it, the 3 year old likes the music, electronics durability suspect
The scooter part of the toy is perfectly fine and durable. The steering is leaning type, that took the kids a bit to get used too. My issue is the electronics have no weatherization, that's a deal breaker, I live in Michigan, when it's not completely dark it's snowing, if it's not snowing it's raining, and rain or snow the kids are outside. The snow is starting to melt and it's already getting ran tough puddles. Also, charging the toy is hard, the whole scooter needs to be brought to an outlet to connect to the unprotected micro USB port.

Fun for kids out at the park
Really lots of fun once you get it set up and going. Took this to the park for my kid to try and all the other kids wanted to have a try as well. It’s a fun scooter to get kids up and about playing outside. Scooters have really changed since I was a kid, and I would’ve loved to have something like this. So, it is a manual scooter, whereas you must push it in order for it to move forward, brake to stop, etc. the only thing that requires electricity is the smoke, and music and light components. So it’ll still move around just not look as cool without the smoke and lights. It is a little tough to setup the handlebars even for an adult, but I guess it could both good or bad depending on how you look at it: safety or easy to use. I also think that since the electric components aren’t so much on the scooter that it could be made into a more compact battery that you can take out and charge separately like the kiddie cars where you can take the battery out and charge it. This isn’t like that, the whole scooter has to charge, almost like plugging up an EV. Also, I wouldn’t keep this out in the elements because we accidentally left it out during a little rain and now the speakers for the music are really bad and kinda muffled to the point where we don’t really use it anymore. That was our fault, but I’d caution against keeping this out rather keeping it inside a dry place to keep the electrical components working properly.I would say that this is a very fun scooter to use once you get it set up and ready to use. Though I don’t think it’s worth the price listed, maybe 50-60$ price range. It’s fun and definitely a showstopper at the park, I just would change a few things to make it something that could last a long while. Overall good scooter for kids.

Cool but not electric
The media could not be loaded. This is a very cool scooter with awesome lights and even a “jet” effect. The wheels also light up when the scooter wheels are spinning. This is a regular kick scooter but with a cool effect. When we saw in the item’s listing that it has a rechargeable battery, we thought it was an electric scooter. It turned out the battery is for the cool lights and smoke effect only. The scooter has a very smooth quality wheels that easily spin when you kick, and keep on spinning for a while. This also gives it a nice speed for a small kick scooter. While the item listing says it’s for age 3-12, I think this scooter is more appropriate for a 3-8 year old. Even at its highest handle level, it’s short for my 10- year old. She can still ride it and have fun with it, but it’s not the ideal size for a 10-year old.The scooter also has a music player. This is plays mostly nursery rhymes, so again more appropriate for small children. We had a rough time unfolding this scooter. The button required a lot of pressure to unlock. I am an adult and struggled with it. I don’t think a child will be able to unlock it on their own. Also we had trouble turning on the power for the lights and jet. I thought maybe the battery was all out of juice so I plugged it in for a while. It still didn’t work so I opened the battery compartment thinking the battery might not be connected. Removing the battery was not easy as it turned out it’s glued in. After it popped off though, I discovered it was plugged in. After more fiddling with it, we found out that you need to press the on button and keep it down to turn on! It would have been nice if they mentioned that in the instructions! The instructions also say to stop the scooter, get off it. It didn’t mention the brakes in the center of its back.Despite the lack of good instructions and frustrating fold button, this is a very cool and smooth scooter for children up to 8 years old.

Great Gift
This is a super cool gift for a young kid, but not someone older that 7, maybe 8. Only because the music it plays is more childish. It is a great way to get your child to exercise because it is not electric, it is a kick scooter. They will love to use it, though, because of the smoke and lights! It looks so cool. All the colors...even the wheels light up when they spin. What a great gift for someone.
