I don't know why companies these days print such half-assed product instructions. The instructions included tell you where to install the batteries and that's it. I don't know what motion is needed to open the lid. I keep trying to close the lid with a motion and I'm still not sure if it can be closed that way. Half-assed printed instructions usually means more indepth instructions on their website. I get it, you're cheap and don't want to print a word heavy manual that gets thrown away. Nope, same half-assed instruction sheet. The website boasts having machine learning to learn my behavior so it doesn't open unnecessarily. Well at the moment my behavior is not consistent because I don't know what and where I should be motioning. And it keeps opening when I walk past. I'm also not sure if I should be manually closing the lid or if it auto closes. I don't think it motion sensor closes. When I manually close it I feel resistance and a click. I hope I'm not breaking something. I sure with they told me how this works so I know what I should be doing so it can human learn properly.
