I had a pipe break in my basement/ crawlspace. No matter how much I cleaned and dried everything it was still muggy down there. There is little ventilation so it was taking forever to air out. There has always been a mild mildew smell down there. I put 3 of these in the basement after the pipe fiasco. They worked quickly to get rid of the high humidity. The mildew smell is now gone. It took about 2 months for the damp rid buckets to fill with water. Now I leave 2 in the basement to keep the mildew smell away and the humidity low.

Perfect for our camper (that stays in Buffalo, NY) and our home on the Gulf. Works great, saving us LOTS of money on replacing our clothes, etc. Works quickly at removing excess moisture, and the large buckets last a long time!

I regularly use these in my crawl spaces and they work great to absorb additional moisture without needing a full-on dehumidifier

Keeps things from getting musty. I put them all over my trailer every few months. I prefer unscented so nothing gets attracted. I have had them freeze a couple times and leak. So usually I place them in buckets for long term. Definitely worth the money to keep moisture down

Seems to work well, but it’s hard to know when it’s full because you can’t see into the bucket. I wish it came in a scented option.
