If i remove my thermostat where am i going to plug the hose into? Does it mean to replace it with a new one?** A: Most thermostats can be removed without causing a leak. I am guessing that yours might be like my truck where the gasket is incorporated into the thermostat. If so, you can probably adjust the time to allow the thermostat to open and replace it afterward.
