Any manufacturer advice on fix?** A: I would definitely contact Timex. This is my second Indigo watch & I had the first one more than 10 years. I wore it every day, frequently changing the colorful band. I dropped it on a tile floor & it broke. Instead of spending money to fix an old watch ((which I might still do) I took advantage ofAmazon’s great price & get a new one! **Q: Is this a good watch for an 8year old?** A: Watch is appropriately 1 & 1/2 inches in diameter and band are great goes through two bars 2 inches apart and will adjust easily.
