These trekking poles are, without question, the best hiking gear I've ever purchased. I bought them as a last-minute purchase before backpacking the Devils Dome Loop Trail in the North Cascades of Washington, and they ended up being worth every penny. Over the course of the trip, I put them through just about everything imaginable. They were used on rock, snow, mud, dirt, and concrete. I dropped them, stepped on them, and even had my fully loaded 45-pound backpack fall on them. Despite all of that abuse, they never bent or failed. The biggest reason I'm writing this review is because these poles likely prevented a very serious accident. While hiking along a steep ridgeline in the North Cascades, I lost my footing near a significant drop. One of these poles caught my weight and gave me enough stability to recover my balance instead of continuing over the edge. That moment alone made them worth every dollar I spent. Beyond that, they're lightweight, comfortable to use all day, and far more durable than I expected for the price. I've bought a lot of gear on Amazon over the years, and this is easily one of the best purchases I've ever made. If you're planning a serious hike or backpacking trip, I cannot recommend these trekking poles enough. They're now one piece of gear that I'll never hit the trail without.

Los bastones cascade a pesar que no son los más caros del mercado, cumplen con las espectativas que se podrían tener en productos mucho más costosos, así que por un precio muy accesible se puede obtener un producto que vale mucho más de lo que cuesta. Mis bastones cascade han resultado ser un valioso sustituto de mis antiguos y ya gastados bastones. Espero con gran confianza que mi nuevo par de bastones me duren muchos kilómetros de caminatas por venir. ¿Han valido la pena? Sí, han valido cada maldito centavo que pagué por ellos.
