Thanks! **Q: Is this ok to use in an AV cabinet if vented? I have a salamander SEATTLE 236 Chameleon Collection that has a 20 inch wide space for a center speaker** A: Thanks for your question. A speaker located in a cabinet space will work just fine but its sound will be effected by cavity resonance. Cavity resonance will alter lower frequencies sound quality but may be improved by center channel equalization. World Wide Stereo – since 1979 – and a proud authorized Klipsch dealer. **Q: I see this speaker has a vented port on back & is not sealed, will a cabinet location sound good? (Salamander SEATTLE 236) not a heat question** A: You are correct, a sealed cabinet speaker would typically behave better inside of a cabinet vs a rear ported one but the RP-500C II may still sound good. We can recommend our RP-404C II, it has a sealed cabinet design. **Q: Which of these klip" center channel speakers will provide the clearest dialogue?: RP 50C, RP 250c, RP 404C, RP 450C, RP 500 CII, RP 504C** A: Hello, first let me say that I have never been disappointed by Klipsh speakers. The answer to your question will depend on other speakers in your system, size of room and distance from speakers. I use Klipsh rp 500 center speaker with my tower rp6000. I can hear dialog very clearly even considering that I have some hearing loss in the middle spectrum. My advice to you is to chat with the people at Crutchfield. They are experts and can advise you.
