Great product overall. I would like to give it 5 stars, but DeWalt dropped the ball with this, maybe intentionally. This is the exact same tape measure as the standard DeWalt Tough Series, only with an LED. The standard Tough Series comes with a removable magnetic tip. What would possibly be the reason to NOT have the removable magnetic tip on the upgraded LED version? This silly setup forces customers who want both LED & a magnetic tip to have to purchase BOTH tape measures, then put the magnetic tip onto the LED series. Many people also have issues where the magnetic tip on the Tough Series comes off & gets lost & they have to purchase a whole new tape, just for a replacement magnetic tip. They should at least sell replacement magnetic tips separately, which would essentially solve both issues... But still, the LED version should also just come standard with the magnet. So with how they sell them now, if you lose the magnetic tip, you need to get a whole new tape measure. If you want both LED & a magnetic tip on 1 tape measure, you have to buy 2 tape measures like I did. I called DeWalt customer service. They said this is just how it is. Seems to me like it's intentional. They make great products, but this marketing decision comes at the totally unnecessary expense of their customers. Please fix this issue, DeWalt!

It is what it says it is. However, maybe I'm wrong, but I find it to be underwhelming. It's good quality and everything, but it's just kind of underwhelming. Does anybody really need this?

American People need one with Fractional readout illuminated/magnetic. Until then I'll keep my basic one.
