正直、足の爪で使って初めてこの爪切りの価値が分かる。厚くて硬い爪でも力を入れずにスッと入って、そのまま引っかかりなく切り切れる。この“ストレスゼロの切れ味”が別格。 特に良いのは、切った後の断面のなめらかさ。パチンと割れる感じじゃなく、スーッと整うから、ヤスリをかける手間がかなり減る。深爪になりにくいのも安心ポイント。 Lサイズは足用にちょうどいいサイズ感で、安定して力をかけられる。刃の形状もカーブが絶妙で、爪のラインに自然にフィットするから、狙った位置でしっかり切れる。 さらに、飛び散り防止のケース付きで後処理も楽。細かいところまで“ちゃんと作られてる感”があるのはさすが関孫六ブランド。 結論、これは“足の爪を切るストレスをなくすための一本”。硬い爪に悩んでる人ほど違いを実感できるし、一度使うと安い爪切りには戻れない。品質・使い心地ともに文句なしで★5。

結論から言うと、軽い力でしっかり切れて、仕上がりもきれいな使い勝手の良い爪切りだと思います。 貝印の関孫六シリーズらしく、切れ味は非常に良好で、軽く力を入れるだけでパチンとスムーズに切れます。切った後の断面も滑らかで、引っかかりが少ないのが印象的でした。 付属のヤスリも爪にフィットしやすく、整えやすい形状で使いやすいです。ステンレス刃ということもあり、切れ味が長持ちしている点も安心感があります。 一点だけ気になったのは、やや爪が飛び散ることがある点です。気になる場合は場所を選んで使う必要がありそうです。 全体としては、切れ味と仕上がりを重視する人には満足度の高い爪切りだと思います。

使っていた爪切りが、爪を切る度にバキッという音で切れ、爪にも良くなさそうだったのでこちらを購入。爪を切ると、サクリと切れます。爪にも負担無く非常に良いです。 品質は流石です。 一点、爪ヤスリの部分がサイドに細く付いているので、少し使いにくいかな。でも私は爪ヤスリを使わないので何の問題もないです。

When I heard about Japanese nail clippers, I thought, “Another thing the Japanese do better?” and wondered if it was just advertising. Well, I love these nail clippers, and I’ll never go back to using others. They’re really sharp and very effective.

The clacks this make when clipping through nails is so satisfying. Also, I'm not sure if it's the spring mechanism, the sharpness and quality of the steel edges, or a combination of both, but this thing feels so effortless cutting through the thickest -of my- toe nails. Almost no effort needed when pressing. My only "complaint" is that it's honestly the largest nail clipper I've ever owned, and due to the massive width of the catcher, I'm unable to store it in the pouch I normally keep for other tools. Well, that and the price I suppose, but if this lasts a "lifetime", I think the convenience/satisfaction of using them will be well worth it.

You wouldn’t think much about buying toenail clippers unless you had had the experience of trying a Japanese clipper before. On a trip to Japan I bought a pair of fingernail clippers in the Tokyo airport and I guard them with my life. So, when I was looking for a toenail clipper, I looked immediately online and found these toenail clippers that are made in Japan. Guard them with your life, because if anybody in your family uses them, they will be gone, which is why I am buying a second pair. This is the clipper for stubborn toenails and they stay sharp (for years!) will be your go-to favorite clipper. It may seem like it’s a cost to buy this, but I think the cost is relative to how well they work. Which is to say, they’re incredible. Now, if I can keep other family members from stealing this pair too.
