In my room, these speakers play below 50hz (although there is a lot of ringing below 200hz). I found the best crossover setting on the back of the subwoofer was at the minimum setting (50hz) and appropriate volume for the room (8-9 o'clock position for my room). Anything higher than that and I'm getting large peaks at the crossover point.
