When my daughter came home raving about this game after playing it with her friends, I knew it was going to be something special. She couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was, so naturally, I had to grab it for her. Spoiler alert: It did NOT disappoint! This game is the perfect mix of strategy, luck, and hilarity. We played it as a family, and it quickly became the highlight of our game night. Even the less enthusiastic gamers in the house were fully engaged (and maybe a little competitive). The rules are easy to learn, but the gameplay has enough twists to keep everyone on their toes. If you’re looking for a game that will have everyone laughing, scheming, and plotting their next move, this is it. Just be warned: it may turn your family into a group of ruthless strategists! Highly recommend adding this to your game shelf—it’s destined to become a classic.

Fun fast paced game. Highly recommend. Play with my 10 and 6 year old kids. Took only a couple of games and they had figured out how the characters interact and function. Ok on second though maybe I shouldn’t be teaching my littles how to bluff so we’ll.

This game is honestly one of the most fun and entertaining card games I’ve played in a while. Every round gets super intense because of the bluffing, strategy, and random betrayals between friends. It’s easy to learn, but the mind games make it really replayable and never boring. The Reformation expansion also adds more chaos and makes bigger group games even better. Definitely one of those games that gets everyone yelling, laughing, and fully invested.

The amount of laughs this has brought to our group is immeasurable. There’s plenty of strategy, deception, and speed to make this game a repeat smash. Super easy to learn and great for groups! BUY IT

If you have a duke, don't use him right away, everyone hates you and targets you if you do. (Block foreign aid at a weird moment after you haven't been claiming duke the entire game and the reactions are priceless. Do it) If you don't have a duke, take as much money as you can, claiming to have a duke, because then you can use your assassin (Yes, we all know the "assassin" is actually a killer contessa) every other turn and murder everyone. If you have two contessa's remember to pretend to have every other card in the deck, because a combo of two contessa's can very easily bite your enemies in the bud, but more than likely you will suffer for pretending to have any kind of power when you have nothing remotely resembling power in your hand. But the best tactic in this game is to pretend like you have an ambassador. Swap your cards, and then when it comes around to your turn again, just go ahead and swap those cards again bud. Keep swapping those cards until you get what you want, or someone foolishly calls you on the ambassador, (which somehow with all the switching you have been doing, you will have, but only the one time they actually call you on it) and lose a card to it. In short, don't use the duke if you have the duke, use the duke if you don't have the duke. Always sweat profusely whenever you take the duke's tax, regardless of whether you have the duke or not. Smile and laugh like an idiot whenever someone seems like they want to call you for being suspicious. With all that said; I am swapping my cards out with my ambassador—do any say nay? Hmm? Speak now or forever hold your peace. Didn't think so.

My husband and I are big into board games, and this one is easily a new top favorite. It is relatively simple to learn and easy to play, and with it being a small box it makes it a great game to bring with you on trips as it doesn't take much room. I have not played a game like this before, so it definitely receives 5 stars from me!

El juego es bastante entretenido, y facil de aprender sin mencionar que el el arte es muy bueno, definitivamente se disfruta más a mayar numero de personas jueguen. Lo unico malo es que ambas cajas llegaron maltratadas
