Easy to set up, basically plug and play. It has switchable transmiter/receiver modes depending on what you want it to do. Eg, I have it set to RX receiver mode to play music via Bluetooth from my phone through my old stereo. The device connects to the AUX input on the stereo with cables - either 3.5mm audio jack, 3.5mm jack to stereo RCA, stereo RCA to stereo RCA or optical. Alternatively, you could set the device to transmit, connect it to your TV's headphone socket and listen to the sound via a Bluetooth sound bar, speaker or upto two sets of Bluetooth headphones.
